Different types of analysis for roll cage are

front impact (4G)
Side Impact (2G)
Rear Impact(4G)
Roll over (4G forces at 45 degree angle)
Torsional Rigidity (1G)
Front wheel bump(.7-.8G)
Modal ( To avoid resonance with engine frequency)
Crash analysis (body is given speed of 45 kmph and crashed to the wall)
Drop test (4 m drop test)
Thickness optimisation (To optimise thickness of Primary and secondary

In all the first six analysis the suspension arm point should be taken as
constraints. Modal analysis is done without constraining the chassis to find the
natural frequency of different modes of vibrations. The frequency remaind zero
for first few modes and raises to a value which should be less than the frequency
of the engine used. Thickness optimisation is done based on the test which has
least FOS. The test with least FOS is selected and the thickness of the pipes are
iterated till the required FOS is got. All these analysis are done in software like
Ansys and Hyperworks.
