Can Feng Shui Make Me a Millionaire?

(article by Derelle Ball www.fengshui1689.com)

The gold in ones heart is far more precious than the gold in ones purse
- Confucious Feng Shui has the capacity to help an individual tap into a state of synchronicity
whereby they are more likely to be in the right place at the right time as opportunity
presents itself. This is achieved primarily with the use of Xuan Kong Fei Xing/Flying
Star Feng Shui, in which one assesses the quality of chi (energy) affecting a particular
space (ie the precise compass orientation and surrounding landform of your home)
during a particular period in time (ie in conjunction with construction/renovation
dates and the current cycle of energy patterns affecting the building).
The correct use of Xuan Kong Fei Xing Feng Shui can help an individual realise their
potential for success/achievement in life. How successful they can become, depends
on their pre-destined capacity for success and achievement. Everyone has a capacity
to achieve in some the capacity is moderate, in others it is huge. Feng Shui cannot
alter your inherent pre-destined capacity for success and achievement; it can however
help you achieve the top level of your predestined capacity in this lifetime.
In order to assess an individuals pre-destined capacity for success and achievement in
this lifetime, it is possible to examine their personal BaZi (8 Characters), also known
as the 4 Pillars of Destiny. This information is derived from the individuals time, date
and place of birth. A qualified BaZi Consultant can tell you the most favourable time
periods for you as an individual, and when you will need additional help along the
way.
Knowing your personal favourable elements can be a big asset because you can wear
the colours associated with these elements as well as use them in the design of your
personal stationary and place objects representing your favourable elements near your
work desk for added luck potential each day. A BaZi chart is made up primarily of
elements (ie water, wood, fire, earth and metal) and yin/yang capacity which translate
as the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches. The combinations of these factors in
your birth chart provide a blue print outlining your potential talents, strengths and
weaknesses. It is then possible to determine for example, periods in time when your
personal energy will be particularly strong, and if you then concentrate on making the
most of the feng shui in your surroundings, in conjunction with a positive attitude,
you are more likely to reach a higher pinnacle of success, depending on your inherent
capacity for achievement.
Some people mistakenly believe that Feng Shui is all about placing oriental-looking
objects and ornaments around your home in order to magically attract wealth luck. Oh
if only it was that easy! If you find that you personally connect with a particular
object or image, you can use it as a positive aspiration symbol that connects your
personal thoughts and focus with your Mankind Luck (ie your attitude, education,
skills and the choices that you make), and then place it in the compass sector where
your siang sin/water star 8, 9 or 1 energy is located, according to the Xuan Kong Fei

Xing Natal Chart of the building. This will then help tie in your positive thoughts and
aspirations with a positive symbol located in a positively energised location.
Your Mankind Luck represents a third of your overall luck potential, and this is why
new age books abound on the power of symbols and positive thinking. However, you
should keep in mind, the ancient practice of authentic Xuan Kong Feng Shui is all
about the careful observation of nature, magnetic forces, the 5 elements and
mathematical cycles of probability and time, and does not rely in any way on the
placement of symbolic ornaments. They are 2 completely separate practices.
There are many 'new-age' simplified versions of feng shui around, claiming 'ancient
feng shui wisdom' whereas in actual fact, the majority of these practices were
invented in America in the late 1970's and 1980's and they have no real connection to
the authentic 4000 year old practice of Kan Yu (Feng Shui). They typically use fixed
bagua and 8 aspiration maps, and some even claim to simply intuitively 'feel the
vibrations' within a building. They are a 'band-aid' approach which greatly appeals to
the western market wanting a quick fix solution to every day problems. While this
type of consultation can be quite entertaining and fairly harmless if the only
recommendations are to hang symbolic objects around the home (thus appealing to
your positive intentions etc), there is also the potential for negative repercussions to
occur when the wrong element advice is given according to the inherent natal chart of
the building.
For example, I come across many clients who have previously employed the services
of consultants who have used 'fixed bagua maps' and recommended clients place
active water features in the far left hand corner of each room (according to the
position of the door) to supposedly stimulate fabulous wealth luck. When the clients
did as they were told, they then became seriously ill and/or their relationships
suffered, or they suddenly encountered huge legal problems. When investigating the
Xuan Kong Fei Xing/Flying Star Feng Shui of their home, it then became apparent
they had inadvertently disturbed and weakened the health and relationship chi of the
ruling chor sin/mountain star energy, or over stimulated a negative siang sin/water
star energy according to the building's natal chart.
I have had clients tell me they read in a book that the North sector of their home
automatically relates to 'career luck' and it can be stimulated with water, so they
eagerly built a pond or pool in that sector outside, only to then suffer a sudden
downturn in income and profitability. When examining the natal chart of their home,
it turned out the North sector of their dwelling contained the siang sin/water star 5 or
2 energy which is a very negative location for any active water features around the
home. Activating the 5 or 2 siang sin energy with active water in the surrounding
landform can attract sickness and loss of finances through accidents, mishap and
illness.
The bottom line is, all homes contain unique energy patterns and combinations which
are determined via the magnetic orientation of the building, the location of external
doors and windows, the construction/renovation dates of the building and the
surrounding landform.

If you seriously want to know how to tap into energy in and around your home to
attract the greatest abundance potential, then you should enlist the services of a
qualified Xuan Kong Fei Xing Feng Shui Consultant who uses a Luo Pan Compass
and who can draw up and explain the flying star natal chart of your home on the spot.
Some people may find themselves in a situation where they are quite happy with their
current lifestyle and success capacity, until suddenly an unexpected development
occurs, and everything appears to come crashing down around them financially. From
a Feng Shui perspective, the first thing you would examine is if the individual has
inadvertently disturbed one of the annual energy influences (ie the Tai Sui, 5 Yellow,
Sui Po or Sarm Sart) by substantially digging up and disturbing the earth or cutting
down trees in one of the affected locations in the surrounding landform.
Its also important to examine whether the individual has altered the Natal Chart of
their home via extensive renovations, which may have altered their luck capacity
substantially with a whole new set of probability factors affecting each compass
sector of their home. Ideally, if planning to build or renovate, you should first consult
a qualified Xuan Kong Fei Xing Feng Shui Consultant so they can tell you the prime
locations for your main door, main bedroom, home office, surrounding water features
and garden structures, exterior window and door placement etc that will enable you to
make the most of any positive energy patterns in and around your home, while also
avoiding and/or draining the negative energy locations.
The correct application of feng shui helps you attract positive energy to positively
energised locations, thus increasing the probability of being in the right place at the
right time when opportunity presents itself.
