your observations and why motor speed varies by changing the value of Pot resistance.

1) Explain the working principle of the permanent magnet DC machine in detail.
2) Write another methods to control of the direction of DC machines. Explain them by
drawing circuit diagram of the methods.
3) To control of the speed of the DC Machine, write all methods for each DC machine
types shown in the lab. Explain them in detail with their circuit diagram.
4) Derive the relationship Tork , Velocity, Power, Flux for each DC machine types shown
in the lab.
5) What are applications of DC machine types shown in the lab.
6) Explain the main properties, advantages and disadvantages of all DC machine types.
