Joined Lucent Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2004 after completing my BTech in Information
Technology. I work as a part of the development team of an Element Management System (EMS) that managed
the elements of a CDMA 2000 network via the SNMP and CORBA protocols. The experience in the company
was greatly instrumental in enriching and polishing my skills in various domains and this was a result of some of
the key responsibilities conferred on my shoulders.
Responsibilities:
Development of various features of various releases of the product. The work bettered my coding skills and
style. To highlight, the upgrade feature of the product was owned and solely developed by myself and was
successfully deployed at customer site.
Bug-Fixing for the product, which augmented my debugging skills. Study of huge trace files to point and
shoot the bugs was a crucial part of the role which also lent deep understanding of the product-component
interactions and data/control flow
Deployment Escort: Was responsible for providing hot fixes with promptest action for bugs reported at deployment
site.
Adherence to the quality standards and practices of Lucent Technologies. This included coding practices,
code reviewing, designing of implementation (HLDs and LLDs), versioned controlling of files/documents
