1.44

COATED FABRIC
Coated fabric is of different technique in which fabric are converted
into other forms of fabric. These can be done with various forms:

1.44.1 The Leather Effect

Leather touch on Denim is not a very new concept, but soft handle and feel along with
leather effect is something which is quiet interesting. Also the self shiny effect means
more you wear the denim the more it will be shiny. Still maintains the dignity and
decency of Denim.

1.44.2 Metallic Effect

Metallic effect along with soft handle and retention after washing is also an innovative
concept. Both on Denim and RFD, the effect with full covering dominates over the
characteristics of fabric beneath.

1.44.3 Oil - Finish Washbur Tag

Permanent wax effect or oily touch on Denim takes control of overall fabric surface
characteristics and gives waxy or oily touch to feel. The effect is permanent after enzyme
wash which further adds value without exaggerating.

1.44.4 Coloured Finish

An innovative chemical, which plays with coating paste characteristics so meticulously,
can give pigment coating effect when mixed with pigment without affecting the handle of
fabric. It can be over-dyed with direct dyes without tinting surface which is pigment
coated to give bi-colour effect. All this effect can be achieved in simple enzyme wash for
30 to 45 min. Tinting with direct dyes can also be combined in same enzyme wash
followed by salt addition as in exhaust dyeing.

1.44.5 Bleach Effect

An innovative chemical resin having properties to discharge colour and gives coloured
bleached effect as evident in scanned photographs. Whole concept is without chlorine
means the same effect can be achieved in just 60 degree Celsius rinse wash for 30 min
with soap. Can be an interesting concept in coloured denims.

1.44.6 Tex Acid Concept

Just specialty resin application on RFD fabric through coating. Coating surface has
affinity for Acid dyes and uncoated surface has affinity for direct dyes. Two tone affect
and used on raw look effect can be achieved just maintaining load of washing machine.
1.44.7 BI-Colour Finish
Both side pigment coat with such precision that it will not give see through or back
staining effect even on fine poplin fabric. After wash, handle is just like jacket fabric with
dry feel on surface. Single side coating + Overdyeing in garment form with direct dyes
can also offer two tones affect same as double coating. Chalk finish combined with over
dyeing direct dye will also give chalked effect as evident from the photograph.

1.44.8 Metallic Effect on Poplin

Metallic effect along with soft handle and retention after washing is also an innovative
concept. Both on Denim and RFD, the effect with full covering dominates over the
characteristics of fabric beneath.
