Assist women and adolescents to understand the different marvels that occur inside the female human
body during their life span, including menstrual periods, fertility, conception, pregnancy and menopause.

Diagnose and treat gynaecologic problems, like exploratory laparotomy, dilation & curettage (D & C),
hysterectomy, oophorectomy, tubal ligation and other surgical procedures.

Observe gestations and infertility through laparoscopy, in-vitro fertilization and use of ultrasound to detect
abnormalities of the fetus, pelvis disorders and treat gynaecological disorders.

Assess, diagnose and treat female reproductive disorders, including


Abnormal bleeding and irregular menstrual periods, endometriosis, genital infections,
Ovarian cysts, breast abnormalities and
Vaginal ailments and other reproduction disorders in women
Several other conditions concerning the female reproductive system

Educate patients on practices that promote wellness & health and instruct measures to detect any
abnormality or aberration in the female body.

Discuss with and guide expectant mothers on reproductive health, child birth procedures, developing
tolerance in labor pains and other maternal concerns.

Determine if normal / cesarean childbirth is in order and perform cesarean sections as required to preserve
both mothers and babys health.

Treat & prescribe proper medications based on findings and test results. Provide and render prenatal, natal
and post-natal care for women.

Help patients in administering / consumption of prescribed medicines ensuring fast improvement in their
condition.

Engage in communicating information with regard to patients condition to attendants, family members
and/or relatives.

Always ensure all patients are treated well and are educated on proper healthcare by providing advice and
support to them with regard to ordeals faced by them.
