SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH

STANLEY Inspection
A worldwide leader in specialist inspection,
nondestructive testing, and quality assurance,
STANLEY Inspection keeps pipeline quality high
when time is of the essence.

TODAYS MOST ADVANCED INSPECTION & TESTING

STANLEY Inspection utilizes todays most advanced inspection and testing
technologies to provide Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) for onshore
and offshore pipeline projects. By combining Phased Array (PA) technology
with Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD), outstanding software, and highly
skilled personnel, STANLEY Inspection delivers comprehensive weld evaluation
while meeting the high production rates demanded by the pipeline industry.
A full-service provider, STANLEY Inspection also
performs supplemental inspection services including
Manual Ultrasonic Testing (MUT), Magnetic Particle
Inspection (MPI), Penetrant Testing (PT), digital
radiography, film radiography, film digitization,
and visual inspection. These services can be provided
standalone or combined with multiple inspection
methods to meet your testing needs.

CONSULTATION & QUALITY ASSURANCE

At STANLEY Inspection, we focus on facilitating the successful construction
of pipelines in the most demanding environments on earth. Beyond pipeline
inspection and testing, our services often include consultative assistance with
material selection, design, and production. Oil and gas companies, engineering
contractors, oilfield service companies, fabricators, and material producers
across the world turn to STANLEY Inspection for help in navigating the complex
path to safe, compliant, on-spec pipelines.

TRUSTED BRANDS BACKED

BY PROVEN EXCELLENCE
Based on a trusted family of international brands including
PIH, Cooperheat, and De-Tect, STANLEY Inspection stands
ready around the globe, armed with the experience,
expertise, and manpower needed to help you meet
your pipeline goals and objectives.

AUTOMATED ULTRASONIC TESTING (AUT)

AUT of welds is accomplished by the mechanization of a portable scanner populated with ultrasonic probes and a sophisticated
data acquisition system. AUT is widely recognized as the most accurate method of detecting and sizing weld flaws in highproduction environments.

STANLEY Inspection provides AUT weld inspection services using production-proven hardware and certified operators.

MANUAL ULTRASONIC TESTING (MUT)

Single- and multi-probe MUT is ideal for wall thickness
checks and is also used to test for laminations in pipe ends,
crack detection, and weld defect inspection. Handheld PA
systems enable corrosion mapping of components, and
they also provide advanced weld inspection capabilities.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION (MPI)

MPI is used on cut and beveled pipe ends before welding
to make sure there are no parent material flaws. MPI is
also used to detect surface cracks after grinding or
machining operations.

PENETRANT TESTING (PT)

A highly effective surface analysis technique, PT is used
to detect cracks and other surface breaking flaws.

Time of Flight Diffraction (ToFD) inspection is easy to set up

and serves to speed up weld procedure development.

AUT GIRTH WELD INSPECTION SYSTEM

STANLEY Inspection utilizes the PipeWIZARD girth weld inspection system combined with
a global team of certified operators. This world-class system enables advanced inspection
techniques, so the same equipment can be used for high production and specialized weld
inspections. High production rates are possible without sacrificing quality.

PipeWIZARD is ASTM E-1961, API 1104,

and DNV-OS-F101 capable. All STANLEY
Inspection PipeWIZARD operators are
UT-certified Level II or higher.
