Nov. 2014. In 1976, Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs began selling the Apple I. Apple II
was designed a month later by Wozniak. They demonstrated the prototype to the public
in December and introduce it to the public in April 1977. It made Apple the lead among
personal computer makers; the Apple II had started the boom in personal computer sale in
the late 1970s.

printed circuit-board, Wayne wrote the Apple I Operation Manual, and Jobs advertised
the Apple I to friends and family. Apple I was first previewed during a meeting of the
Home brew Computer Club on May 1976.

right that the company quickly became an American success story. In the wake of Apples
success, its investors decided it was time to go public. Apples success attracted the
attention of the computer giant IBM, which until the was still only selling mainframe
computers to large companies.

Former Pepsi President John Sculley, whod joined Apple to play the role of Jobs
babysitter of sorts, couldnt handle working with him. In fact, Sculley orchestrated the
outer himself, comparing Jobs to a relentless zealot. In 2009, after news broke that Jobs
failing health had forced him to take medical leave, the companys stock fell almost 10%.
