Aces & Operatives Ticket Purchaser and Website User Policies

Our policies are commonplace to the role-play and interactive

theater community. These polices allow us to: (1) design and produce very
unique events for you and; 2) ensure that we maintain a positive
environment for everyone.
POLICIES

TICKET PURCHASE
All ticket purchases are by and between the purchaser ("Player") and
The Game Theatre, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company.
Your ticket purchase is not by and between yourself (as Player) and any
Game Master ("GM") or venue. Aces & Operatives is a trademark owned
and produced by The Game Theatre, LLC.

WAIVER & CODE OF CONDUCT

Players expressly agree to have read the below terms and conditions as a
condition precedent to ticket purchase and attendance at an event. These
terms and conditions are common to role-play groups and guest interactive
productions.

Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity

(Agreement) for Aces & Operatives

By being permitted to participate in the events you understand that Aces &
Operatives is story-based role-play experience. We never use, allow, or
script for use of fake striking weapons (often referred to as Boffer in the
role-play community). Therefore, you agree to not bring such items to our
events. We rely on information, strategy, story creation, and setting.

We do not permit or condone any action or activity that presents risk of

bodily injury. The only activity permitted is verbal communication. If you
take any physical action you fully accept and assume all such risks and all
responsibility for losses, costs, and damages you incur as a result of your
physical activity.

As a Player you hereby release, discharge, and covenant not to sue The
Game Theatre, LLC, their GMs, independent contractors, and owners and
leasers of the premises where the event takes place (each considered one of
the Releasees herein) from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or
damages on your account caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part
by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise; and you further agree that
if, despite this release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and
indemnity agreement, you, or anyone on your behalf, make a claim against
any of the Releasees, you will indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of
the Releasees from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss, liability,
damage, or cost which any may incur as the result of such claim.

You have read this agreement, understand its terms, and understand that
reviewing it was an express condition for your ticket purchase and
attendance at any Aces & Operatives event. You intend this to be a complete
and unconditional release of all liability.

POLICIES OF CONDUCT
The Game Theatre, LLC takes pride in creating an enjoyable atmosphere for
all players. We need your understanding and commitment to following the
following policies.

Strive to create a friendly environment.

Our events are 21 and over only and our stories may include mature themes
and language. Any and all of our subject matter depictions are fictional and
any tension is between characters, not between players personally, and
tension and competition is for the sake of storytelling and social theatre.
Violence, sexual harassment, theft, vandalism, incidents creating a major
impediment of game play, and illegal drugs will not be tolerated at events.
Consequences may include temporary or permanent expulsion from events.

The Game theatre, LLC prohibits any form of sexual harassment or

discrimination. Sexual harassment is defined as unwanted physical contact,
comments, or images with sexual overtones, or any other deliberate action
that causes its recipient physical or emotional discomfort based on gender.

The key word here is unwanted. For our events and games, friendly hugs,
handshakes, shoulder-slaps, and so on abound. Friendly flirting, or
sometimes more-than-friendly flirting, may occur from time to time, incharacter or out. But if someone says no or stop or anything along
similar lines, then the behavior in question stops right then, no exceptions,
no questions, or the one perpetrating the behavior will be asked to leave. We
hope players will be able to settle any situations that arise among
themselves, but if you feel there is a problem that requires the attention of us
please speak to a Game Master.

This policy does not mean you cant give your character-buddies a friendly
hug, or that you cant compliment the cute newcomer. Just use some
common sense. For example:

Okay: Thats a fantastic costume! Where did you find your fabrics?
Not Okay: Great gargantuan gazongas, Batman! Could that corset
possibly show any more cleavage?
Okay: Pursuing a romantic storyline in-game.
Not Okay: Continuing to pursue it when the player in question has clearly
expressed disinterest and/or discomfort with the storyline. Stalking is creepy.
Okay: Giving your friends hugs.
Not Okay: Hugging anyone who, for any reason, has asked you not to.

We want to encourage fun and imaginative social opportunities. But

unwanted contact and comments are not an acceptable part of those
opportunities.

The Game Theatre, LLC produces events at venues, such as restaurants,

bars, clubs and hotels. Therefore, alcohol will be available. If you consume
alcohol at an event you hereby confirm that: (1) you are over 21 years of age
and; (2) you will consume responsibly. The above Release and Waiver is
applicable.

Owner. Nothing contained on this website should be construed as granting
any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written
permission of the Website Owner. The Website Owner will take immediate
appropriate legal action to enforce all of its trademark rights and protections.

mailing list so we can notify you of future events before press release. This
is our courtesy to our registered players, so you have access to advance
ticket sales first. We never share your email address with any third-party and
our email signature includes an unsubscribe feature should you wish to not
receive future emails.
