Sub: Payment of semester fees for July 2014 Session - Reg.

The Semester fees for July 2014 session will be collected from the existing research
scholars during July 1 7, 2014 between 10.30 A.M and 5.30 P.M (except on 05.07.2014 and
06.07.2014) as scheduled below. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of
The Director (Research), Anna University payable at Chennai obtained from any
Nationalized Bank drawn on or after 24.06.2014.The Registration number and name of the
research scholar should invariably be written on the back side of the D.D. The research
scholars registered at erstwhile AUTs (Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai and
Tirunelveli) should remit their fees in the respective Regional Office. Fees payment will be
accepted only from the scholars who have already submitted their Semester Progress
Report for January June 2014.

from the scholars who have submitted the Progress Report and not to accept the fees
without the Progress Report signed by the scholar, Supervisor, Joint Supervisor (if
any), HoD/Director of the Centre of the Supervisor and Head of the
Department/Institution of the scholar.

I herewith enclose the schedule for July 2014 semester fees collection.
The research scholars who fail to pay the fees by 31.07.2014 shall be directed to remit
their fees only in the O/o. Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai and not to be
collected at the Regional Office. I am to request you to send the demand drafts (attached
with audit copy) collected from the research scholars with their name list & fees collection
details along with a soft copy on or before 08.08.2014 to avoid audit objection. Further, you
are requested to file the progress report with Fee challan [Director (Research) copy] in
the file of the research scholar and not to send to this office.

The Fee Schedule may be displayed widely in the Notice Boards.
