Tarkio R-I Breakfast & Lunch Menus

as a reward for participation


in book fair promotions and
meeting sales goals.
The book fair will offer
popular books and educational products for all ages,
including the newest titles
from more than 150 publishers. All are offered at
reasonable prices, so that
students can choose books
that appeal to their personal interests and parents
can add to home libraries.
The fair is open to the public
Monday through Thursday
from 7:30-8 a.m. and 3-3:30
p.m. Family Night evening
hours will be Thursday,
March 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
All Tarkio Elementary students will have a chance to
visit the book fair and make
their own wish lists prior to
the Thursday evening family event. The book fair will
close on Friday morning by 9
a.m. Contact the Tarkio Elementary Office with questions of if you would like
to volunteer. Parents are
encouraged to bring their
children and enjoy the Book
Fair Under the Sea!
Scholastic
now
offers
an online fair. Shop in the
comfort of your own home
by visiting scholastic.com/
bookfairs or find the link on
our school webpage. All online orders will be delivered
directly to your childs classroom in a few short days.
The online fair will open on
Monday, February 23, and
close on Friday, March 13.
New this year is the Scholastic FREE Book Fairs App,
available on the Apple App
Store or Google play.

Monday, February 23 - Breakfast - Pop tart, cheese


stick, pear half, juice, and milk; and Lunch - Chicken
strips, peas, broccoli with cheese, fresh orange, sliced
peaches, and milk.
Tuesday, February 24 - Breakfast - Frittata, toast,
mixed fruit, juice, and milk; and Lunch - Mini corn dog,
baked beans, mixed fruit plums, and milk.
Wednesday, February 25 - Breakfast - French toast,
sliced peaches, juice, and milk; and Lunch - Hamburger
on a bun, tater rounds, cooked carrots, mandarin oranges,
pineapple tidbits, and milk.
Thursday, February 26 - Breakfast - Biscuit and gravy, mixed fruit, juice, and milk; and Lunch - Burrito, romaine lettuce, cooked cabbage, pear halves, sliced peaches, and milk.
Friday, February 27 - Breakfast - Yogurt, muffin,
sliced peaches, juice, and milk; and Lunch - Chicken and
cheese crispito, corn, romaine lettuce, applesauce, banana,
and milk.
2nd entree and a chef salad available the 5th-12th each month

Indians fall to
Blue Jays
The Tarkio High School
Indians hosted the Rock
Port Blue Jays in conference
basketball action on Friday,
February 13, 2015. The Indians played a good game, but
lost to the Blue Jays 41-61.
Connor Shaw led the Indians with 18 points. Seth
Fletcher added 15 points
(two three-pointers). Shae
DeRosier
and
Brendon
Bruns both scored four
points. Coach Robbie Bates
remarked, The kids fought
hard the entire game. We
simply struggled to get stops
when we needed them.

Girls lose
to Rock Port

The Tarkio High School


Lady Indians hosted the
Rock Port Lady Blue Jays
in conference basketball action on Friday, February 13,
2015. The Lady Indians put
up a fight, but ultimately fell
to the Lady Jays 27-45.
Emily Graves led Tarkio
in points and rebounds with
10 points (one three-pointer) and 11 rebounds. She
also had one steal. Christina Hall scored six points
and had two steals and nine
rebounds.
Gentri
Staten
scored five points and had
one rebound. Shelby McCartney scored three points
and had one assist, one
steal, and seven rebounds.
Hadley Barnett scored two
points and had one assist
and two rebounds. Tawni
Martin scored one point and
had four rebounds.
