0.1 This Indian Standard ( Part 2 ) ( First Revision) was adopted by the Indian Standards
Jnstitution on 26 December 1985, after the draft
finalized by the Pig Iron and Cast Iron Sectional
Committee had been approved by the Structural
and Metals Division Council.
0.2 This standard was first published in 1966.
The Committee decided to revise the standard
in view of the fact that most of the overseas
standards covered have been revised.

1.1 This standard ( Part 2) compares spheroidal
or nodular graphite iron castings included in
Indian Standard with International (ISO), British
