Private Equity Finance (PEF) explores the financial issues related


to private equity industry.

Basic Econometrics (4)

Objective: introduce students to the basic concepts in


econometrics, i.e. understanding regression techniques, how to
use it, and how not to misuse it.
Familiarity with certain basic statistical concepts is a prerequisite
for this course.
To opt for this course you need to have B and above letter grade in
quantitative methods course (QABD)
This course will be a mix of both theory and applications of certain
econometric techniques in data analysis.
We will use Stata and MS-Excel extensively in this course for
analyzing data.
