General Description
AMINEF annually offers Fulbright scholarships for Indonesians to study and to conduct
research in the United States. Fulbright scholarships are available to Indonesian citizens
with the appropriate qualifications as stipulated in the program descriptions listed below.

General Requirements:
Applicant is an Indonesian citizen and does not have dual citizenship.
Applicant possesses leadership qualities.
Applicant has a good understanding of Indonesian and international cultures.
Applicant has a demonstrated commitment to the chosen field of study.
Applicant has a strong commitment to return to Indonesia upon completion of the
Fulbright program.
Applicant is not an AMINEF or U.S. Embassy or U.S. Department of State employee
or a close family member or dependent of the employee.
Applicant is currently not enrolled at an education institution or pursuing another
degree.
Applicant is not receiving another scholarship at the time of application or at the
same time of the AMINEF scholarship.
Applicant does not intend to pursue another similar program for a double degree.
Applicant will still be working for his/her home institution at least 5 years before
retirement upon the completion of the scholarship program.

Ph.D. PROGRAMS
Fulbright Ph.D. Degree Program
The grant is to pursue a Doctoral degree in all fields of study in the U.S. for 3 years.
Applicants have:
Completed a Masters degree program (S2).
a minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale).
a minimum ITP TOEFL score of 575 or IELTS equivalent.
a determination to take up academic positions in higher education upon their return.

RESEARCH PROGRAMS
Fulbright Doctoral Dissertation Research Program
This grant is for doctoral (S3) candidates to conduct research in the U.S. for 6 months.
Applicants:
are enrolled in a PhD program at an Indonesian higher education institution.
are in the final stages of writing their dissertation.
have a minimum ITP TOEFL score of 575 or IELTS equivalent.
Deadline: April 15, 2015
Fulbright Senior Research Program
This grant is for scholars who have a doctoral degree and intend to carry out research for
3-6 months in the U.S. Although a TOEFL score is not required, the scholars should be
able to demonstrate sufficient English-language proficiency to conduct research in the
U.S.

The U.S. Department of State through AMINEF annually offers fellowships for
Indonesians to participate in a professional development or exchange program in the
United States. The fellowships are available to Indonesian citizens with the appropriate
qualifications as stipulated in the program descriptions listed below:
Administrative Requirement:
Completed application form.
Copy of your most recent, less than two years old, ITP TOEFL/IELTS score report.
Two letters of reference from your current employer.
Copy of academic transcript and diploma (original language and English translation).
Copy of valid identity document (KTP or passport).
