The spread of english ...

It is obvious that english language is the most dominated language in the world.
I always lookd at its bright side but I never thought of it as a language which can have
harmful effects.
Small languages like Serbian have tendency to become endangered. Todays young people
are all into English. Instead of speaking their own language properly and more accurate,they
put English words and phrases in speaking and writing.They even find it cool because their
parents do not understand a word they say.This is the point when the language becomes weak
and vulnerable.It is ready to be taken over by English unnoticeable and without resistance.The
main problem is that we are not completely aware that our native language is
changing,transforming and slowly dissapearing.
On the other hand we must not neglect that spread of this phenomenon called English has
brought us only the best of it.Its benefits are countless.Learning English gives us a chance to
work abroad and it offers us great cereer opportunities.By using English we are able to
communicate with people all around the world.This is very important because it helps us to
understand different cultures and to meet and accept different people.
As we can see the spread of English can bring us advantages and dissadvantages.
If we choose English every door will be open because people will understand us.If they
understand us they will accept us.And if we are accepted members of the community our
possibilities are endless.But if we neglect and even forget our mother tongue it would be like
we never existed.The solution is to find the balance and nothing can be harmed or damaged.
I dont know about you but I found my balance.I will keep learning and speaking English
whenever I can.But I will speak ,cherish and adore my own language.There is nothing so
divine if you spread the ideas in your mother tongue.

languages and cultures to dissapear.So lets celebrate diversity.It makes the world more fun
place to be.Speak your language and spread the great ideas.
