Are repads required
Are repad dimensions correct with appropriate weld
details. See ASME calculations

FireTube & Stack Details

Are firetube flange details correct: Firetube hole size,


number and size of bolt holes, firetube hole
center/center dimension, bolt hole offset degree,
thickness
Are firetube neck details correct: J-Bend detail, radius,
thicnkess, weld details
Are firetube dimension correct: length, diameter,
spacing, schedule.
Are burner ring flange details correct: I.D., O.D.,
thickness, bolt hole size, number and location. Does
burner ring match burner flange. Check mfr drawings.
Stack height correct
Are TSH connections provided
Are bend details provided
Will burner mount without interfeence
Check to make sure that top mounted level transmitter
probes do not contact fire tube supports or contact fire
tube. Need 6" clearance minimum.

Is diameter and/or radius correct

Is equalization cutout detailed.

Pipe size and schedule correct
Are spray nozzles required? Location and number of
nozzles
Location and length of sand jet piping.

Oil Spreader Box Details


Are dimensions correct?
Confirm hole size, number and location
Will pieces be outsourced for cutting? Need details if
so.
If pieces are removable, will they fit through manway
Are supports detailed. Location, elevation, etc.
Check to make sure that top monted level proves that
extend into the interface level do not hit the spreader
box. Need minimum of 6" clearance.

Oil Collection Heater Details


Pipe size and schedule correct
Size, location and number of holes
Check to make sure entrance bushing is not directly
over collector pipe
Check to make sure top mounted level transmitter
proves are offset and do not hit the collector pipe

Ensure that all dimensions are clear and can be read
easily.
Make sure reference line and center line are shown on
drawing.

Is treater an AC, DC or AC/DC?
Number of entrance bushings correct for treater type
Is grid size correct
Is grid spacing correct
Is grid isolation correct for treater type. AC vs AC/DC
Are insulator in correct positon for proper grid
isolation
Are insulator lengths correct
Are there enough grid supports
Are float balls in correct location
Are there enough float balls for treater type and size
Is grid Bill of material correct. # of grid plates, # of
insulators, support straps, u-bolts, nuts, washers,
unisturt, spring nuts, etc.
Are contact rod details correct

Is there an opening or clearance for top mounted level


transmitter probes to penetrate grid section
Platform, Ladder, Clip and Support Details
Are ladder, platform, misc clips and support details
correct
Trasformer support correct for appropriate transformer.

Are ladder and platforms shown on an orientation
and/or elevation view
