Teletech Customer Care Management Philippine Branch is a multinational company and the largest BPO in the Philippines with approximately 18,000
employees. I was assigned to one of the largest site located in Sta. Rosa with a total of nearly 1800 active employees with a designed agent capacity of
2000 employees. I am responsible in managing Human Capital Delivery Department on a site level concerning benefits management and
administration, data management, labor relations, organizational development, policy formulation, planning & project management, health and
wellness. Part of the responsibility is to provide support to managers and directors of other department especially with Operations on various Human
Capital concerns to manage their respective programs and department. Large portion of this concerns are focused on labor relations, attrition
management, focus group discussion, roadshows, benefits and metrics management. From time to time, I lead the implementation and facilitation of
site engagement activities on various participation drive involving surveys, communication drives, talks/seminars, Online training, health & wellness and
any corporate office and/or Denver Headquarters driven site activities. Being the Site Human Capital Manager, I was a member of the Center
Leadership Team that worked hand in hand with the Site Director and other leaders to manage the Site to make sure that the best interest of the

MOF Company is a 55 year old shipping company when I joined them that is engaged in logistics, cargo handling and shipping. MOF is the official
exclusive company handling all cargo transaction of one of the largest Korean shipping company, Hanjin Shipping Co. Ltd. I was the Assistant
Manager of Personnel Department handling recruitment, labor relations, company and government benefits administration, data management,
timekeeping, events and facilities management. Under facilities management, Im directly involved to handle security, janitorial, health and safety. The
department is under the umbrella of Legal and Administration Department directly reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Legal and Administration
Department. I also touch base from time to time with the Executive Director, Senior Vice President for Finance, Senior Vice President for Operations
and department managers to give support concerning policy administration, employee relations, manpower management, performance management
and other concerns they have from time to time.
Achievements

Formulated an employees manual that served as a guide on the various policies of the company and the benefits offered to them by the company
and the various government agencies.
To control and avoid payroll fraud, I formulated a better approach to handle the Companys time-keeping process by implementing the 8:30
timecard watch, overtime and pay dispute approval process on a daily basis. This has reduced the OT and pay dispute cost up to 20% on a
monthly period since the implementation.
Introduced the use of Jobstreet.com in recruitment which has reduced the companies recruitment cost up to 75% compared to previous years of
using print ads.
Spearheaded the renewal of the Companys healthcare insurance for the year 2003-2005 reducing 10% on the Companys cost on healthcare.
201 File management clean-up drive which has improved and develop a better way to handle the 201 filing matters. Started to introduce the
paperless 201 file management to reduce storage and office supplies cost.
Spearheaded the Annual Christmas Party based from an allocated budget that is 15% lower from previous years but still exceeded the employees
satisfaction based from feedback and survey result.
Organized the Inter-Department Bowling Competition which has been considered as one of the most enjoyed and successful events based from
employees feedback.
PABX enhancement and telephone cabling clean-up which has improved the phone communication system of the company due to the cabling
improvements and reduction of dead extension lines in the PABX system load. It has also reduced the cost of purchase for PABX extensions due
to more identified free lines in the PABX system.
Total office facilities improvement drive which has saved the company 60% on the cost compared to contracting services.

1997-2001

For 3 years I was assigned to handle 5 Company owned AMA Telecommunications (AMATEL) and 86 franchise branches of AMA Computer Learning
Center (ACLC). During this period of time, Im HR Supervisor of AMATEL responsible to handle recruitment, labor relations, data management,
company and government benefits. For the 86 ACLC franchise branches I act as consultant on various HR concerns and as an audit supervisor to
check if the franchise branches adhere to AMAs standard operating policies concerning compensation, benefits, qualifications of teachers, manpower
requirement based from student population, employee case handling procedures and employee data management which includes employment
requirements compliance. Regular audit reports were submitted to the HR Manager, Franchise Area Managers and to the franchise owners to make
sure that the franchisees will make the necessary steps to adhere to AMAs operating standards. Part of the responsibility was to assists the franchise
owner on the recruitment of their start-up manpower requirements including company orientation and job responsibilities. One year was devoted to
AMA Group of Companies assigned to Metro Eye Security, Inc. as HR Supervisor responsible to handle recruitment, labor relations, data management,
company and government benefits administration and consultant to the VP of Security Operations.
