B. Course Description
This course discusses about world history and civilization 2 from the early modern times to the present. It encompasses, its discourses from 1500 (CE) AD by examining
the cause and effect of time, places, and technology in the developing diverse societies from the light of their food and water security; technological influence and multimedia
herding; international cooperation and diplomatic strengthening; global and environmental advocacy; and sustainability for peace and development.

The course studied farther the cause and effects on globalization in the world history and civilization; the rise of East and West in the changing and challenging glocal
world of dominance; the development of distinctly modern modes of thought on social and political organization; and challenges to western and eastern world dominance in the
22ndcenturies. Lastly, it assesses & evaluates the socio-cultural, socio-political, socio-economic empowerment of the national and international (nation & state) trend and issues
through the existing advocacies and ideologies in the relationship among nations. It specifically credit on the discourses about gender and gender development; food and water
security; environment, peace and development and the awesome responsibility towards information technology over time and space.
C. General objectives
At the end of the semester 100% of the students will be able to master the 95% of the following objectives:
1. Demonstrate and understanding the diversity and complexity of the historicity that shapes human experiences;
2. Demonstrate the role of the glocal history and civilizations within the respective nations & state total experiences;
3. Generalization of the major achievements in humanities, natural and social sciences in the interconnection of these civilizations;
4. Demonstrate multiple intelligences on historical information such as names, dates and chronologies, events, terms, and concepts;
5. Organize and articulate their ideas through an essay or publishable paper that presents a thesis relevant to the contemporary concern;
6. Chronological survey of the development of world civilizations from 18th century with attention to the interaction between these civilizations;
7. Appreciate the relevance on world history and civilization 2 for the contemporary world through historical foundation on the current glocal developments;
8. Support the ideas intelligently with historical evidences and will achieve expected learning outcomes based on the presented, analyzed and interpreted data;
9. Analyses major historical periods and a synopsis of the distinguishing political, social, economic, and geographical characteristics of each continental civilizations;
10. Demonstrate and understand the interrelatedness of historical events as expressed in concepts as continuity of the changing causation, interdependence of socio-political
and cultural interaction between differing groups in a diverse society; and
11. Apply and relate to the http, www.com, eBooks, html, pdf and other Webliographic sources on the study of world history and civilizations 2 to fastrak effective and efficient
data collection through intellectual migration facilitating the multimedia virtualization.
