The Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd (MIMS) is a 300-bedded multi

specialty hospital situated in the heart of Calicut city and has an atmosphere of quiet and
unpolluted air. The hospital is renowned for its excellent medical expertise, nursing care
and quality of diagnostic services. The hospital has earned a very good recognition as a
leader in providing world-class healthcare services to the common man at an affordable
cost. The hospital is continuously in tune with the latest technology that promotes the
healthcare and well being of the patient.

The hospital has over 40 disciplines managed by highly qualified and trained full
time medical specialists providing round the clock service.

The hospital is equipped with the state-of-the-art medical equipments such as

Helical CT Scanner, Cathlab with DSA facility, Fully automatic bio chemistry analyzer,
video endoscopes, operating microscope etc, MIMS is also equipped with the latest
Nuclear Medicine facility with fully loaded E-CAM Gamma Camera with e soft
workstation. One of the key features of the radiology department is that this is the only
center in Malabar to have the Interventional Radiology procedures.

In the last three years, MIMS has been recognized as one of the best tertiary care hospital
in Malabar, and also been identified as a leader in patient care, medical research and
teaching. Today MIMS is known for its excellent faculty and staff who have specialized
in every aspect of medical care. The hospital has grown into a completely self-contained

MIMS has 12 fully equipped operation theatres and has the facilities for
conducting the super specialty procedures like Open Heart Surgeries, Beating Heart
Surgeries, Kidney Transplantation, Joint Replacement surgeries, Spine surgeries,
Cochlear Implant surgery, Complex Neurosurgery etc. The hospital has excellent facility
for providing emergency and trauma care for various emergencies like Heart attack, Road
Traffic Accidents, Snake bites, burn injuries, internal bleeding etc. The

(Managing Director), Mrs. Gracy Mathai (General Manager (HR & Admn)),
Mr.Jayakrishnan (General Manager (Finance)) assisted by a team of professional
managers which includes Mr. Surendradas (Sr. Manager - Engg), Mr. Mohammed Sajid
(Sr. Manager - IT), Mr. Mohandas (Sr. Manager - HR) and Mr. Udaykumar (Company
Secretary).
