After getting frequent Messages about my visa interview questions and experience, i thought i

should post it here so that anyone going for interview in near future may take benefit from it.
Interview date : 7th Jan, 2015
Intended Uni : University of Applied Sciences Stuttgart
Intended Course : Master Software Technology
Interviewed by middle aged (30-35) Pakistani guy at counter no. 02 of German Embassy Islamabad.
Interview Questions and Answers :
Q. Why Germany?
Ans. High quality education at extremely low cost. Welcoming environment for international students
(Openly tareefyn kro german education system ki :-P ).
Q. Why this University?
Ans. Good ranking, Distinguish faculty, Excellent lab facilities, 70 partner institutions around the
world (Now start praising your Uni, but must be based on fact).
Q. Why this course?
Ans. Industry oriented course, most relevant to my previous studies, accredited by ASIIN. (Again be
honest)
Q. Your previous degree??
Ans. BS(IT). He started staring at me :P and i said it's Information Technology then he said hmmm...
Q. CGPA??
Ans. Yusss..that's what i was waiting for ;-) With a voice full of pride 3.83 Sir :-P and trust me he was
impressed !!! even he started looking at my DMC thoroughly and then he looked at me with the eyes
of PK (Aamir khan) :-P VO Shocked, I rocked ;-)
Q. Who will finance you?
Ans. I'm Pappa's Prince :-P (Dialogues nhe chlty whan beta !!) I said my father.
Q. What does he do??
Ans. Business
Q. Monthly income (Aprox)?
Ans. Tell him/her honestly, don't try to be the son of Bill Gates (Hope it doesn't hurt !! :-P )
Q. Siblings??
Ans. Again be honest
Now came the tricky part...Heart rate 150B/M :( Ya ALLAH madad
Q. Future me kya kry ga beta??
Ans. (Chachu pta hota to germany q jata :-P ) Well, i'll come back to Pakistan after completing my
Master degree.
Q. Why Pakistan?? You can get a good IT job in Germany, after master. What if Germany offers
you, will you opt??
Ans. No, i will come back to Pakistan and i'll join one of the leading IT Companies in Pakistan...i
mentioned few names.

He said, hmmm...and he then gimme a page to write LOM...I sat on a chair, in front of the
photocopier and wrote down 1 paragraph summary (With slight modification) of my LOM which i
used for admission purpose (With slight modification) and returned him after 10 minutes (He didn't
enforce any time limit btw).
That's it !!

He said pay this fee (Visa fee) in the mentioned bank and then you are free to go..

Wese if you are a little close-fisted, to fees muafi ki Application bhi accept krty ha Embassy wly...try
your luck (y) :-P
Anyhow, i went to Standard Chatered Bank (i think 1 street chor k next street me tha) and paid 8100
euros (Relax man, 8100 rupees i mean) there...got shuttle and started my return !!

Be clear and committed in your own mind, don't get confused and be ready for all types of questions.
He can ask you same question in a different way (as he did with me in the last part of the interview,
Future plans) but don't change your answer, as i did (I'll come back to pak !!).
Free Tip 302*
Do proper research about your Uni and Course before going for the interview.
Special Tip*
You are not done yet, go to bzr and buy 1 adad white topi (sorry about Girls :-P ) and 1 adad
tasbeeh and start praying 5 times a day, recite Quran-e-Pak daily and 2 rakat salat-ul-hajat every
night...And surely parents will be praying for you as well...Trust on Allah and you will get the desired
outcome IN SHA ALLAH !!
