The

image is a medium shot of the

protagonist Ingrid, looking back at
the camera which plays the POV of
the chaser, so that she is looking
back at the chaser.
The original image has a lot of the
scenery background colour but we
edited it so that it was in black and
white with a blue tint.
There is a significant reason for
choosing a tint of blue and that is
because when researching action
thriller films including the posters;
we found that the majority had a
blue colour grading. This is because
the colour blue creates a cool
atmosphere that works very well
with this genre.

A billing block is a very common

convention of film posters. It is a
condensed form of credits that
mention the main people who had
worked on the film.

The title of the film is placed at

the top of the poster in a large
and unique font so that it is clear
and one of the first noticeable
things.
On top of the title INGRID, we
placed the protagonists name so
that the person looking at this
poster can know who will be
acting as the main character of
this film. In films that cast well-
known actors and actresses, their
names act as a logo that is
recognisable.
The title and the protagonists
name is edited to be in orange;
this is because the background
image is edited with a blue colour
grading blue and orange are
complementary colours and this
will allow both the image and the
text to stand out equally.

This acts as an indication to when

the film would be released. We
dont have a set date but as like
many films, we have written
coming soon. This way we can
market and promote our film
before it is released. The text
coming soon was also filled in
orange and not in another colour in
order to create a balanced colour
composition; which will make the
title, actresses name and the
coming soon equally stand out on
the poster.
