Re: Introduction about your prospective subject 91-519 according to my experience.

Dear student,
I took the course of Work organization which was the link between organization and
engineering. I learnt many things starting with the analysis of the current organization to
the designing of new one by ourselves.
During study, I became familiar with global trends and changing role of engineer with
turbulent markets. Learning management styles of the history, revolution and
organizational culture were useful to understand business strategy. I also familiarised
how team is developed and gets success. The importance of leadership and effect of act
of a one person on whole team were understood by flight of phoenix film and also our
project work. I want to make my career as product designer and I will be entrepreneur
after completing my diploma. So it was really important to gain knowledge about creativity
and innovation as a designer while leadership and teamwork as a professional.
I would suggest you to attend all lectures of the course. The class is learning with fun.
You would love it by watching knowledgeable videos and innovative activities in group. I
recommend you to watch videos given by professor as they are exactly related to the
study topic and very helpful to understand the concept. For open book test, though I had
material with me, I could not find out or write from it. Only my knowledge and study of
class lectures helped me for scoring. So, I suggest you to focus on your class notes rather
than taking more books in exam. I wish if I were familiar with the open book exam before
I could have scored higher than now. I would also focus on exact point to point precise
answers to questions asked in exam and assignments to score perfect.
Finally, I would like to tell you that enjoy classes with innovative learning and it will
definitely be helpful for your career as a part of any organization.

Re: Feedback about 91-519 class based on my personal experience.

Respected sir,
The class of work organization was more fun, practical and reflecting todays
organizational culture.
I first time experienced how learning was easy by watching videos and doing class
activities like creative thinking to invent new product. Guest lectures were also very helpful
to learn many things from their varied experience. I also liked commentary section, its
different topics and reading others arguments opposing different way on it. My final take
home exam was half the preparation and half new learning in 3 days. As shown in last
slide Say as they do the thing has 90% effect on this kind of practical subject. So,
examining running work in some organization and giving review should be increased in
lectures and assignments. I think attendance also should be allocated about 5%
weightage, so that group activity can be performed well and all can participate
compulsory.
I got to know the structure of organization, how to start business and also BMC. The thing
I actually learned was working in team. My assignment, project and commentary marks
also proves what I could actually learn. The creativity and innovation were also very
important. They will help me in my project work in next semesters study. As a product
designer and may be as a business entrepreneur, this course will help me a lot to create,
organize and dealing with several issues as professional. The part about which I am little
upset is my score in mid-term exam. Now I feel I could have scored more like other
sections commentaries, Assignments, project. Though it has more weightage (15 %), I
can do nothing now.
In the end, I would like to say that I needed very much brainstorming to complete your
allocated tasks (homework, take home exam). It was really pleasure to study under your
kind guidance, enthusiastic and novel kind of teaching style.
