function as sealer before application of Fendolite MII.
The reinforcement of 50 mm x 50 mm x 1.6 mm plastic coated wire mesh shall be fixed or
held in position on stud already welded by vessel manufacturer at vessel skirts and secured
with washers. The reinforcing mesh must be positioned so as to lie substantially within mid
third of the applied Fendolite MII thickness.
Reinforcement installation shall be complying with Company standard KOC-C-027.
Anchor bolts shall be coated with grease prior to applying fire proofing as per KOC-C-027.

range of 100 - 600 rpm upto 15 mm thick for each coat, to have a total thickness of 50 mm
(2 hours fire rating).
It is important that the preceding coats if any should be well scratched to ensure good
bonding. The final finished surface of Fendolite MII will be lightly trowelled to have a
reasonably smooth finish. Air pressure should not be more than 2 bar at the nozzle. No
rebound materials shall be used.
