Carpet

Component
Picture above show carpet as one of component in the building. Carpet is a textile
soft floor covering that is produced by the permanent orientation of fibers,
synthetic or natural, into a substrate. Carpet can be cut or loop into many design.
Carpet can be removable and easy to change. Moreover, carpet offer aesthetic
beauty and comfort underfoot for users.

Location
Carpet in this building is installed in the Main pray hall

7.3

Inspection
The carpet will be checked daily by the person in charged. The inspection
including observation on the carpet whether it is crushing,

Problem

7.4. 1 Crushing
Crushing is the loss of pile thickness because of foot traffic is too rapid.
7.4.2

Indentation
The weight of heavy pieces of furniture can cause indentations in carpet.
Some depressions may be permanent cannot be repaired.

Maintenance
7.5.1

Crushing
Carpet will be vacuum two or three times in a week using vacuum cleaner
by person in charged.

7.5.2

Indention
Use furniture glides or cups under the legs of heavy pieces, or move
furniture a few inches backward or sideways so that the weight is not
concentrated in one place.

Airconditioning
8.1

Component
Air cond is used to altering the properties of air into more comfortable conditions
of air and supply into the space needed. There will be than one unit of split unit
air cond in one room if the room is big. Bigger room need big number of air
conditioning in order to accommodate the users inside the room.

This type of air cond does not use anymore because there are new types of air
cond installed in the building.

8.2

Location
Library, Main office and classroom are accommodate with air conditioning.

8.3

Inspection
Inspection will be done by the Unit Keceriaan weekly.
8.3.1

Filter
Checking dust or any obstacles on the air conditioning filter. It is
important to make sure enough fresh air is flow through into the room
smoothly without any interruption.

8.4

Problem
8.4.1

Filter Clog
The filter of the air conditioning clogged with dust and other obstacles and
as a result, fresh air cannot flow smoothly.

8.5

Maintenance
Maintenance will be done by Unit Keceriaan detect the problem with the
operation of the system.
8.5.1

Filter
Regularly cleaning the air filters every 2 weeks. Wash the filters with
water or clean them with a vacuum cleaner and make sure there is no dust
or any obstacle on the filter component. If severe dirt, wash the filters with
a neutral detergent diluted with water and dry them up in a shady place.

PA System
9.1

Component
Public Address System is an electronic sound amplification and distribution
system allowed the people to address a large public using microphone, amplifier
and loudspeaker.

Location
PA system is located inside the PA system room.

Inspection
9.3.1

Echoes
Every day before pray time, person in charged will do daily inspection.
This inspection is Important to make sure all sound system can be used
normally.
Person in charged will checked if there any echoes inside the building
before any event start.

Problem
9.4.1

Echoes

The sound system have problem with echoes. Peoples inside the building
have problem with hearing the sound properly.

9.5

Maintenance
9.5.1

Echoes
Sound stabilizer being used to stabilized the sound inside the building.
Sound engineer detect the space with the sound problem and maintain
using sound stabilizer.
