Ping no responde pero puedo conectar

Hay un PC en mi red que me tiene preocupado. Si hago un ping no me da respuesta, tiempo de espera agotado, pero s puedo conectarme a l por VNC y tiene acceso a la red local y a
internet. Por qu no responde el ping? Firewall? Virus?

lo mas seguro es que tengas habilitado el firewall(de windows) y por eso no obtienes respuesta del pc al hacer ping.

OP

Si ese fuera el caso habilitas la exepcion de "compartir archivos e impresoras" en el firewall de windows ya tendras respuesta de ping.

Comprueba tambin que no haya ningun software a terceros tipo zonealarm o netlimiter o cualquier aplicacin que veas sospechosa..
Ante la duda, DESINSTALAR .. jeje

Si no quieres desactivar el Firewall. Ve a conexiones de red, boton derecho en la tarjeta de red conectada, Propiedades, Opciones avanzadas y Configuracion de
Firewall. Ve a opciones avanzadas y en el apartado "ICMP", marca "Permitir solicitud de eco entrante"
