Executive Summary
A. Introduction
Sweeter than sweet is a partnership type of business owned by five
students of the Ateneo de Naga University namely; Abegail A. Sales as
the General Manager, Kristienne Mae C. Briuela as the Assistant
Manager, Marianne Christie R. Bacuno as the Marketing Manager,
Quennie Ann F. Matos as the Production Manager and Shojimar M.
Yoshida as the Financial Manager.
Sweeter than sweet is a start up pastry retail establishment located
near the Ateneo de Naga University. Sweeter than expects to catch the
interest of a customer base with its broad variety of pastry products.
Sweeter than sweet aims to offer its products at a competitive price to
meet the demand of the lower-to-higher-income local market area
residents and tourists.

Vision and Mission


B. Vision
Our vision is to become well-known pastries shop that offers
affordable products that will gain profit for the better improvement of
our shop . The quality and unique features of our product will lead or
help the group in the success of the enterprise.

C. Mission
Our mission is to satisfy the sweet to oth of our customers, to serve
the best and affordable pastries in the city, to give proper benefits to
our employees, and to seek fair and responsible profit, enough to keep
the company financially halthy for the long term and to fairly
compensate owners for their money and risk.

D. Goals and Objectives


Long-term goals
To increase the number of benefactors within Bicol region.
Build companys name through community and public relation.
Produce varieties of patties.

Create good relationship with business partners.


Maintain the good quality of the product.
Short-term goals
Successfully promote the product in the market.
To reach sales quota.
To acquire positive feedback from the customers.

E. Target Market
Our target markets are students and employees, ages between 6 to
45 years old because they are fond of sweets

F. Competitors
Our direct competitors are Caramel, Red Ribbon, Goldilocks. Our
indirect competitors are Bakery shop.

G. The Products/Services
Sweeter than Sweet offers a broad variety of pastry products.
Flavours that are being offered; for cupcakes are Oreo, Vanilla, Blue
Velvet, Red Velvets, Black Forest, Mocha, Chocolate, Caramel and
Jalapeno ( chili ). We are also offering Emotipops, Doughnut Cookies,
Bondage Cookies and Scar Cupcakes.
Sweeter than Sweet competes in the food services industry. In
addition to competing with other specialized cakes, bakeries it
competes with all restaurants, delis, bakeries and supermarkets for a
share of its customers food expense. Sweeter than Sweet is most
concerned with competitors who differentiate their products and
services with a creative and arty focus.

II. COMPANY SUMMARY


A. The Company
1. Nature of Business
Sweeter than Sweet is engaged in the production and selling of
Cupcakes and Pastries around the boundary of Ateneo de Naga
University. Sweeter than Sweet also delivers its products anywhere in
Naga City. Sweeter than Sweets production facility and shop is located
in Ateneo Avenue Naga City, just outside the Ateneo de Naga
University. Its products are marketed throughout Naga City through
printed advertisement posted on every corner of the city as well as
direct sales via the social networking sites such as facebook, twitter,
Instagram and plurk. Sweeter than Sweet also put stall inside the
Ateneo when there is an event such as Orgs Fest, Pintakasi,
Intramurals and other events that would allow us to sell our products
inside the campus.

Location
Our location is nearby school, we plan to have a better signage that
will attract students in Naga Parochial School and also in Ateneo de
Naga University.

B. Job Description
1. S/he responsible for managing and ensuring optimum funds
utilization and distribution.
2. S/he must forecast the needed funds in the operation of the
business
3. S/he must budget and allocate resources throughout the
organization, as well as analyzing the capital needed
4. S/he must constantly review the financial performance of the
business through inventory and journalizing the transaction

Marketing Manager
A. Job Qualification
1. S/he must be a graduate of Marketing Management or any
business related courses
2. S/he must be good in written and verbal communication
skills
3. S/he must be good in organizing and planning marketing
strategies
4. S/he must have the knowledge in problem analysis and
problem solving related to the product marketing
5. S/he must have the capacity of persuading the customer
6. S/he must be innovative, creative and adoptive in making
marketing techniques and product promotionss.
B. Job Description
1. S/he is responsible of managing and coordinating with all
marketing advertising and promotional staff and activities
2. S/he must do research in determining market requirements for
existing and future products
3. S/he must analyze the current market condition and the
competitors
4. S/he must develop and coordinate with finance manager in
developing pricing strategy
5. S/he must determine and manage the allocated marketing
budget
6. S/he must develop good public relations to the customer.

III. SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS


SWOT ANALYSIS
The Sweeter than Sweet competes in the Food Services Industry. In
addition to competing with other specialized cakes bakeries, it

of its customers food expense. Sweeter than Sweet is most concerned

A. Strength
The strength of the product is unique enough to attract more
customer, and pricing is fair and low and also offering opportunities for
customers to join in our ecological goals.

B. Weaknesses
First time in business venture, financing a small business could be
difficult, marketing our product is a big challenge for us and also
potentially could be understaffed if our product demand increases
drastically.

C. Opportunities
Our opportunities is to focus a small sales through selling our
products per price, then Green technology will improve our image and
the product Expansion is to have more kinds of pastries offered and
Innovation can create most pastries and customers desired.
D. Threats
The treat is to have financial problems that could threaten our first
Years success, competition with the other pastry shop, and also the
time management could falter our productivity.
