Krazy Karnival Update

30th annual Krazy Karnival at
JFB, and for every single
person who donated their
time, raffle basket items, and
ideas! We certainly couldnt
do it without all of our
volunteers and such great
community support! It was a huge success and was great fun for all
who attended!

Staff Appreciation
This week, Kevin Dern (a JFB and Kings alumnus!) from Dewey's Pizza graciously
donated lots of yummy pizzas for Spring Conference Night! Thank you to our PTO
Staff Appreciation Chairpersons, Becky Stevens and Kari Falk, for organizing the
donation and setting everything up, and thank you to all of the parents who
donated side dishes, drinks, and desserts!

Enterprises visited our JFB first
graders recently. He told
traditional Shawnee stories and
shared cultural interpretation
including clothing, foods, arts,
music, and an approach to the
environment as a circle. He will
return later this month to hold a
program for fourth graders!
