Responsibilities :

Coordinates all the activities related to implementation of Companys health, safety and
environmental policies, procedures and guidelines as instructed by Manager.
Support Manager in the following activities
Risk identification, Management, Elimination.
Incident reporting and investigation.
Safety Induction & orientations.
Various compliance activities and implementation of various aspects of management
systems in all areas of HSE.
Conducting awareness trainings and refreshers for visitors & existing crew.
Team member in conducting inspections and assessments. Record-keeping and other
general administrative duties.
Manage safety performance and required weekly reports.
Attend monthly onsite contractor safety meetings, briefings & drills.
Supervise Rig Up & Rig Down activities.
Full coordination of safety trainings, materials/procedures and maintain employee
training records.
Report monthly and quarterly site safety statistics, and schedule employee physicals.
Coordinate & Maintaining a high degree of commitment to companys health, safety and
environmental programs for gas detection and protection services in different areas of
Kingdom for drilling, E & P companies.
Assist Management in conducting internal audits for HSE. Performing monthly safety
visits /Confined Space/Work Permit Audits etc.
In charge for HSE Reporting to senior management for current activities of specialist
working on rig sites & conducting evaluations.
Supervise the Operation & Installation of detection & protection systems.
Maintaining the inventory tracking records.
Supervise Rig Up & Rig Down activities.
Conducting new hire trainings, H2S awareness trainings & maintain training records.
Thorough Supervision of Maintenance of the above detectors in company warehouse.

Offshore and plant H2S Safety Supervisor with sound knowledge of equipment, trouble shooting, on site
trainings and well versed with safety procedures. Representative of the company on many fields and

plants with a list of satisfied clients.


Responsibilities:
Well Site H2S Specialist/ Safety specialist
Installing the wireless system to the well site. Installing the fixed gas detecting system to the well site.
Assembling the control panel and junction boxes. Troubleshooting for the sensors and junction boxes
Monitor wireless gas detecting system. Calibrate the H2S and LEL sensors and portable gas detectors.
Working on the Cascade system.
Handling Safety meetings and H2S drill. Training the well site crew about donning & doffing of SCBA
and H2S awareness.
Refilling of SCBA cylinder and maintain its record.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Must have CDL with Hazmat (or can obtain within 90 days of hire)
Operates and maintains the H2S Detection System and Air Breathing Safety Equipment at a land
or offshore based drilling rig or production platform where there is a potential for or an anticipated
release of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) gas.
Completes all Total Safety and Customer documentation associated with assigned tasks in a timely
and accurate manner.
This includes all inspection and repair documents, job cost billable expenses and time sheets.
Conducts detailed visual inspections and system functional tests of various systems and equipment
for the purpose of reporting any deficiencies and corrective action recommendations to customer.
Conducts H2S Awareness, Safety Equipment and Emergency Response procedures for all rig and
service personnel (who do not hold current TS Certification Cards). Conducts H2S drills, critiques
and grades the drill and recommends improvements.
Ensures that all Cascade Air Banks are charged and online. Ensures that all 5, 10 and/or 30
minutes SCBAs (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) are functional and fully charged. Performs
scheduled air quality checks.
Ensures operability of both Electric & Diesel Air Compressors. Ensures that proper maintenance
including air purification cartridge changes, oil changes and other filter changes have been
performed and documented.
Assists others in facility with inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling and testing shop
equipment, SCBAs, manifolds, regulators and hoses.
May stock shelves with clean, tested and ready to use equipment and pull, stage and load
equipment for jobs.
Maintains work area and other areas in a clean and orderly condition
Maintains ongoing effort to keep equipment clean and respiration masks sanitized. Maintains
running inventory of location and availability of safety equipment.
Performs basic maintenance and care of assigned vehicle and/or trailer.
Assists others as needed
Contacts with immediate associates and immediate supervisor for instructions, training and
guidance. Daily customer contact
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, is regularly required to stand, walk,
climb steps and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Uses hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and
arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. Must occasionally lift and/or

move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: Shop and yard environment. May be frequently exposed to wet, humid, outside
and extreme weather conditions and vibration. Works in customer environments.
Possible Work Hazards: High pressure, high elevations, chemicals, shop traffic, and off-shore
drilling rigs or production platforms (when applicable). The noise level in work environment is usually
moderate to high.

Sound knowledge of H2S safety equipment, trouble shooting, on site trainings and well versed
with safety procedures.
