29 March: Passion (Palm) Sunday begins Holy Week

The palms symbolise Christs triumph, while the cross is the symbol by
which his triumph is achieved.
30 March: Mass of Holy Oils at 6.30pm (St Patricks Cathedral, Ballarat)
This Mass has special significance for those who will use the Blessed
Oils in 2015: the ordained, the sick, those to be baptised and confirmed.
31 March: Communal Celebration of Gods Mercy & Forgiveness at 7.30pm

Parish Priest here from 1998 to January, 2004. All welcome

THE EASTER TRIDUUM

Project Compassion: Week 5: Peru: In a remote Andean village, Caritas Huacho is

helping farmers like Cristian to grow and harvest a wide variety of high-value,
sustainable fruit crops, which will provide a secure income and a wide variety of
food for life.
Ignatian Camino: This is the Camino (680kms) Fr John walked in 2013. In
September, 2005 a group will walk the same route commencing from Loyola and
travelling through picturesque mountains, deserts and plains, ending in the town of
Manresa near Barcelona. Fr Jose Luis Iriberri sj, who designed the route will be
in Warrnambool (St Josephs, Gathering Space) tomorrow (Monday) at 7.30pm. He
will speak about the Camino and parishioners are most welcome.
Welcome: Fr Tom Brophy is our presider this weekend as Fr John is away presiding
at a wedding.
