Changes have been made to the CASE Building

Changes have been made to several offices and departments within the Center for Admissions
and Student Enrollment Building.
One of the major changes is the Financial Aid Office, which is now located at the Seminary Bath
House (red brick building behind Seminary Hall).
The lower offices now contain registrar office, transcripts and veterans services. The upper level
contains career services, ID services, scholarships, university advising, as well as admissions and
recruitment.
The new changes have made some students upset and frustrated.
Knowing all of the changes and getting to know where all of the new offices and departments
are is something students are having difficulty dealing with, said Shelby Treat, university
advising student worker.
Paper signs have been put up throughout the CASE building but some students fail to read the
posted signage.
Signs letting people know where other offices are within the CASE building is something that
can be worked on, said Kassandra Harman, Chelsea senior.
Many adjustments and arrangements are being worked to help students and others adjust to the
new changes.
New signs have been made and ordered and we hope to have them up within the next few
weeks, said Jeff walker, university advising center director.

An open house is scheduled for Feb. 24. Various offices are working together in making an
information sheet available to students, faculty and staff of the new changes with a map of both
levels.
We plan on having the right signage up in the correct places before the open house, said
Walker.
The open house is free to everyone and will start at 10 a.m. and will end at 2 p.m. There will be
free snacks and drinks available with tours throughout the building. People will have the
opportunity to ask any questions pertaining to the new changes.
