- The NCEE (national college entrance examination) was
introduced to distinguish those who are eligible to take a degree course and
those who should take a vocational course.

Career - time devoted for working out of a purposeful life pattern through the

Profession - career that requires specialized training and academic
preparation.
Occupation - group of similar positions found in different industries or
organizations.
Position - group of task performed by an individual in an organization.
Job - a paid position held by one or more individuals.

Career Planing - is choosing life's important paths. A lifelong process, that


includes choosing an occupation, getting a job, growing in our job, possibly
changing careers, and eventually retire.
Career Planing 4 steps:
1. self
- gather info about yourself (interest, values, roles,skills
and developmental needs)
2. options

- explore occupations that you're interested in.


- get more specific info after you narrow down your options.

3. match

- identify possible occupations.


- choose both short and long term option.

4. action

- develop the steps you need to take in order to reach your goal.

rookie - a degree holder, LET passer, certified teacher by the PRC
young professional - have 2-3 years teaching exp. and expected to be
enrolled in a graduate program.
full - pledge professional - master's degree holder.
mentor - have taught at least 5 years.
artist - at least 10 years exp. doctorate degree.
