1. Orientation sessions are conducted because

They provide an opportunity to answer questions and define


roles, assess skill level and experience, set expectations, and
anticipate head off problems.
They are also conducted in order to ensure the orderly transition
of moods, behaviors, and to size up the needs of the new environment
as well as my clients.
Orientation sessions give background to pre-service teacher to
what is and what is not, to how and to why a certain rule needs to
enact.

2. I feel

Enlighten with the things that I need to consider in the whole


duration of practice teaching; the rules and regulations to follow have
been clearly discussed.
Through the orientation sessions conducted, I feel I can
accomplish those things that are needed in my practice teaching and
are also needed in my own advancement.

3. I know I can

Obey those rules and regulations and perform those theories and
principles of teaching. I know I can also overcome those problems and
tribulations that may fleet along my way. I can adjust to my new
exciting habit and could teach accordingly through the orientation
sessions conducted. This will serve as my guidance in my daily
teaching. Above all, I know I can teach my lessons to my students well
so as to touch their lives through the help of my COOPERATING
TEACHERS.

Am I really prepared to teach?


Am I really prepared to teach?
The common litany that runs if we talk about teaching is that it is
the noblest of all professions. Nothing is more profound profession than
teaching for teachers invest their own time, energy, and in the long run,
invest their own lives just to touch the lives of others, as they often say
My Teacher My Hero. How great is the feeling to be called hero. But then
again, I always go back to the question, am I really prepared to teach?
I do believe that three years of preparation is enough. I have gained
a repertoire of healthy knowledge, receptacle of good values, and
storehouse of useful skills.
A truly prepared teacher is someone who can make a difference in
childs life, to ignite curiosity and growth to their students. It is the most
rewarding part of teaching. But as much as teaching can be rewarding, it
can also be frustrating and stressful when dealing with unmotivated
students, large classes, and heavy workloads. Most frustrating one,
teachers will sometimes have to deal with unruly behavior and violence
from students. These are all part of teaching. Teaching is not simply
teaching. You must ensure that your students are really learning from
you, how they assimilate the knowledge, imbibe the values, and foster
the skills must be monitor by you. You can only perform all these if you
exhibit a sense of preparedness in teaching. Going back again to the
question, am I really prepared to teach? I can say Yes I am. This is
through the help of the people behind me especially my cooperating
teachers who continuously motivating me to strive, to do my best, to
