General : The forwarding letter for sending the paper should contain the Fax, Telex, Telephone numbers and
Email address for speedy communication. The original copy of the completed manuscript with two xerox copies
should be mailed to the Editor. The manuscript should be typed on A-4 size sheet, with right and bottom
margins of 2.5cm, top margin 3.5 cm and left margin 5cm wide to allow for copy marking. The abstract on the
first page should be printed at a distance of 12 cm from top edge of the paper. Typing should be on one side of
the paper only. Every part of the manuscript should be typed in single space with letter size of 12 pt in Times
New Roman font of Window based MS WORD. The first page should contain the title, the authors names,
authors complete business and email addresses, telephone number, abstract and text. Page numbers should
begin

with

title

page,

and

all

pages

should

be

numbered

subsequently.

Authors should check the finished manuscript, especially when it has been revised and retyped. The Editor may
be able to use diskettes of manuscripts prepared on IBM compatible personal computers. Please submit
computer floppies alongwith the manuscripts. The publication of the accepted paper sent without disk may be
delayed.
Manuscripts

and

illustration

must meet the

requirements

outlined

below:

Title Page : This should have only the title, authors name, institution of origin with its address (including
postal code and email address), abstract, text and necessary footnotes, if any. Telephone number should be
included

for

telephonic

discussion

between

readers

and

authors.

Abstract : An abstract of not more than 250 words is required for papers, and a shorter one for technical notes.
Reference

should

not

be

cited

in

the

abstract.

Keywords : These may be given as per requirement and should not exceed 10. Key words should be placed
directly

below

the

abstract.

Tables : Tables should be numbered with Arabic numbers, have a brief title, and be referred to in the text.
Column headings and descriptive matter in tables should be brief. Vertical lines should not be used. Numerous
small

tables

should

be

avoided,

and

the

number

of

tables

should

be

kept

to

minimum.

Equations and Formulae : Equations and formulae must be set up clearly and should be typed triple spaced.
Numbers identifying equations should be in brackets and placed flush with the left margin of the text.
Figures & Line Diagrams : All illustrations, whether diagrams or photographs should be of high quality,
referred to as 'Figures' with their captions and numbered consecutively as they appear in the text leaving
sufficient space for inserting the figures. When submitting the manuscripts in three copies, the figures should
be

attached

at

the

end

(rather

than

pasted

in

the

text

itself)

of

each

copy.

Map or sketches on tracing paper should be sent along with the text. Each diagram, map or sketch should carry
a suitable title. All lines must be sufficiently thick to reproduce well and decimal points, periods, dots etc. must
be large enough to allow for necessary reduction. Letters and numerals should be typed neatly with a lettering
device,

not

freehand.

Computer-generated graphics may be acceptable provided they are in black ink, on high quality paper, and
lines,

letters,

numbers

and

symbols

are

clear.

Photographs : Three sets of all photographs are required and should be attached at the end of each copy.
However, sufficient space should be left in the text for inserting the photographs. Prints must be of high quality,
made on glossy paper, with strong contrasts. The print should be trimmed to show only essential feature. The
best results will be obtained if authors match the contrast and density of all figures arranged in a single plate.

Reference : Reference must be typed single spaced and listed alphabetically.. References should be indicated
in the text by names and year (standard practice), the full reference given in a list at the end of the paper in
the following form.
