Council. Developed raw material forecasts, economic impact & costs for a budget exceeding $300M.
Negotiated total savings and cost avoidance exceeding $72M and provided a competitive advantage.
Delivered quarterly presentations to our CEO, division Presidents, and Controllers on anticipated raw
material market movements, fiscal impact, and variance to fiscal plan.
Purchasing Specialist (January 1990 January 1994)
Responsibilities included the purchase, logistics, production scheduling, and inventory control of plastic and
glass containers as well as plastic closures and pudding roll stock. Represented Procurement on product
development teams.
Reduced an existing plastic closure price by $1.7M, which yielded a 33% decrease upon assuming
responsibilities for plastic closures and demonstrates my continuous improvement capabilities.
Selected to lead the ingredients group for a supply chain initiatives gathering and presented the outcome
of our groups efforts to the 110 participants.

Administered the purchase, logistics, production scheduling, and inventory control of all plastic and glass.
Assisted in the development of a computer module, which provided a more accurate safety stock
program and reordering positions. This resulted in Wesson Oil Operations reporting the best service
ever with packaging shortages decreasing from 4.5% to .6%.
