Analyzer Update

1 In this version
This release contains support for new and updated file formats. There are updates for most
technologies that Actix supports, with changes falling under the following categories:

New collection devices and improvements:

Added support for TEMS Investigation version 16.0, TEMS

Symphony version 7.4, TEMS Pocket version 14.0

Added support for Rohde & Schwarz version 4.77

Added support for JDSU file format version 18.0-4

Added support for Huawei E353 and Hisilicon E3276s-861 devices in

Ding Li file format

Improvements to Samsung chipset devices decode

Application layer improvements:

Improved VoLTE event detection

Added support for event detection for truncated VoLTE calls

Improved LTE CSFB call detection

Improved diagnostics for CSFB call setup failures and drops

Fixed a problem that prevented Analyzer from displaying Spotlight

LTE Cluster Acceptance Report in May release

Fixed an issue that caused a blank screen to open when using

Convert Spotlight Report

Platform issues:

Fixed a problem in Analysis Manager that caused filter queries to

not work if using !=, <, > or <= operators

Fixed a problem where existing event queries could not be copied

Fixed an issue that made it impossible to delete a filter defined on a

statistic in Analysis Manager

Fixed an issue that prevented Analysis Manager from opening when

the PC language is Russian

Fixed an issue in the Map that prevented users from displaying cells
by colour to match colour ranges defined for LTE_UE_PCI

Fixed an issue with using expressions to display tooltips in the Map

Fixed a problem that incorrectly named TAB files exported from the
Map when using Chinese Traditional named log files

2 New collection device or technology support

2.1 Ascom TEMS support

Added support for TEMS Investigation 16.0

Added support for TEMS Symphony version 7.4

Added support for TEMS Pocket version 14.0

A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from detecting

HTTP Upload events
Improved the decode of Samsung IP packets so that SIP is detected and
appropriate SIP attributes are set
Added support for these new SRVCC attributes:

LTE_Event_SRVCC_Interruption_Time
TEMSEvent_SRVCC_Interruption_Time

Fixed an issue that prevented Analyzer from decoding CDMA and EVDO
attributes from PCTel MX Scanner log files
Fixed an issue that prevented the Auto Create Scanner Frequency
functionality from working with PCTel MX Scanner log files
A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from loading
TEMS Symphony 7.4 logs with PCTel Scanner
A problem has been resolved that caused incorrect low values to be
reported for the attribute Voice_Event_CallAttempt

Resolved a problem that caused Analyzer to display abnormally high

values for RSCP when Load Time Message Filtering was enabled
Appended the Tx AGC Array field to the UMTS Rx Tx Power 2 message
due to discontinuation of UMTS Rx Tx Power message. Relevant
attributes set:

2.4 Nemo support

A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to hang when loading
a second log file into a workspace when using a non-English European
language PC
Fixed an issue that had prevented previously visible MIMO attributes
from being displayed in Nemo 2.18
Fixed an issue that caused incorrect decoding of MIMOMEAS messages
in Nemo log files
Fixed an issue that caused inaccurate reporting of
LTE_UE_PayloadRate_L1_DL and Physical_Throughput_DL

2.5 Qualcomm support

Resolved a problem that caused Analyzer to falsely peg

QChat_CallSetupFail
Fixed an issue that prevented Analyzer from showing E-UTRAN
parameters from System Information Type 2Quater message

2.6 Rohde and Schwarz support

Added support for Rohde and Schwarz file format version 4.77
Fixed an issue which prevented Analyzer from displaying the correct
time zone due to Rohde and Schwarz not using the global option Mobile
Time Offset

2.7 Swissqual support

Fixed an issue that prevented the MNC from being decoded in PCTel
Scanner files

2.8 Generic

Improved the event detection mechanism to handle truncated VoLTE

calls
Fixed an issue that caused Analyzer to incorrectly peg VoLTE drops to
UMTS cell with Samsung chipset messages
Resolved a problem that caused LTE_UE_Call_SetupTime values to be
abnormally low
Fixed an issue that caused Analyzer to not detect some VoLTE drops
Fixed a problem that caused every VoLTE call to be pegged as a setup
failure
Added a new attribute for VoLTE:

LTE_SRVCC_Call_ID

Resolved a problem that caused only the first CSFB call in a file to be
detected

3 Application layer improvements

Added CSFB events to the LTE Voice Spotlight Repository Template

Fixed a problem that prevented Analyzer from displaying the Spotlight
LTE Cluster Acceptance Report in the May 2014 release
Fixed an issue that caused a blank screen to open when using the
