Career Objectives
• To master the Acoustic Bass. Technically and stylistically in many styles focusing in Jazz
Fusion, Funk and Groove based music, Classical and South American/African Beat.
• To achieve a high skill level on Electric Bass as a support and help for my performances.
• To become a competent Music Educator with a complete understanding of the teaching
process, techniques and methods, so I can teach to any age group.
• To become and active performer as a leader, side musician and studio player in any kind of
style or setting.

• Aditya Balani Group brings together talented musicians from across the
globe, Mario Carrillo from Spain (bass), Dimitrije Vasiljevic from Serbia (piano),
Pablo Eluchands (drums and percussion) from Chile Annette Philip (vocals), and
Aditya Balani (guitar) from India.

Aiming for true artistic expression and drawing from their ethnic roots each musician
adds a unique colour to their sound which is an exciting blend of the spontaneity and
harmonic interplay of Jazz with the sheer intensity of Indian Classical melodies and
rhythms.

Jazzlibitum 2005 to 2007


• Founding member and main composer/arranger/manager of the band
Jazzlibitum, an electric funk jazz fussion band that mixes grooved based sound with
electric sounds and that today is still active.

Mina Cho Quartet – Mami Quartet Summer ’08 to present


• Bass Player and arranger/composer for the band led by Berklee Student,
pianist Mina Cho. This group of young talented musicians present modern jazz
harmonies blended with South American grooves heavily influenced by Berklee
Faculty Leo Blanco with whose guidance they are working.
