Isaiah 49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her

womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.
16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And
we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten
by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The
chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord
has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

long way off, his father saw him and was moved with pity and tenderness [for him]; and he ran
and embraced him and kissed him [fervently].
22 ..the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on
his hand and sandals on his feet.
23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry;

Luke 15:28 But [Older Son] was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and
pleaded with him.

29 So he answered and said to his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never
transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I
might make merry with my friends.
30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you
killed the fatted calf for him.'
31 And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.

1 Corinthians 13
(4) Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy,
is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
(5) It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not
act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is
not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it
pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
(6) It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
(7) Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of
every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without
weakening].
(8) Love never fails

Ephesians 3:19 [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for
yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge.;

Romans 5:8

But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still
sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.

Romans 8:32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all,
will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?
35 Who shall ever separate us from Christ's love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or
calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?
36 Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and
counted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through
Him Who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,
39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the
love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 4
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the
propitiation for our sins.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.

1 John 3:16
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our
lives for the brethren.
