2. Wheat procurement during RMS 2014-15 has been reported to be 280.23 lakh tonnes.
3. TPDS offtake has been assumed @ 100% of allocation for AAY, Priority and BPL and
80% of allocation for APL/tide over allocation. Monthly allocations assumed for the year
are as follows; AAY 0.883 lakh tons , BPL 1.976 lakh tons, Priority 9.77 lakh tonnes, APL
4.27 lakh tons, Tide over 0.28 lakh tonnes. Estimated monthly lifting (0.883+1.97+80%
of 4.27+0.28 lakh tonnes) is 16.277 lakh tonnes.
4. Offtake of allocation of 15.63 lakh tons under OWS has been assumed at 80% of
allocation i.e.@ 1.042 lakh tons/month.
5. Offtake against the additional allocation of 17.85 lakh tonnes has been assumed to be
80%. The monthly offtake will be 1.19 lakh tonnes.
6. For 2014-15 allocation of 100 lakh tonnes has been approved by CCEA for tender sale.
The approved tender quantity upto 4th tender in February, 15 is 39.64 LMT. Upto
December 2014, 16.45 lakh tonnes of wheat was sold under the scheme and 25.00 lakh
tonnes is assumed to be sold upto 31.3.2015.
7. Out of the export of 20 lakh tonnes wheat allowed from the Central pool, 3.27 lakh
tonnes has been exported after 1st April 2014. The export from the central pool has been
closed now.

1.
Figure given by FCI. This includes the rice equivalent to unmilled paddy of
48.66 lakh tonnes lying with State Agencies and FCI.
2.

As per the State Food Secretaries meeting held in August 2014, the procurement
from Kharif crop only is estimated to be 301.50 lakh tons. As per the Food
Secretaries meeting held in February, 2015, the procurement against the rabi
crop has been estimated to be 50 lakh tonnes. Thus the total procurement during
KMS 2014-15 has been taken to be 351.50 lakh tonnes.

3. TPDS offtake has been assumed @ 100% of allocation for AAY, Priority and BPL
allocations and 90% of allocation for APL/ tide over allocation. Monthly allocations
assumed for the year are as follows; AAY 4.054 lakh tons , BPL 6.767 lakh tons,
Priority - 7.999 lakh tonnes, APL 4.12 lakh tons, Tide over - 0.165 lakh tonnes.
Estimated monthly lifting (4.054 + 6.76 + 7.925 + 90%of 4.12+ 0.165 lakh
tonnes) is 22.604 lakh tonnes.
4. Off take under OWS has been assumed at 100 % of allocation @ (34.16/12=
2.277 lakh tons per month.
5. Offtake against the additional allocation of 61.44 lakh tonnes has been assumed
to be 80%. The monthly offtake will be 4.096 lakh tonnes.
6. Proposal is under submission for approval of allocation of rice. It is expected that
20 LMT of rice will be sold upto Sept, 15.

1. As per the 1st advance estimates of D/o Agri & Coop, rice production during
KMS 203-14 is as follows: kharif crop- estimate 880.2 lakh tonnes estimate, rabi crop
target 140 lakh tonnes , total production estimate - 1020.2 lakh tonnes.
2. During KMS 2014-15 export of non-basmati rice has been assumed to be 70.0 lakh
tons. Similarly, export of basmati rice has been assumed to be 35 lakh tonnes.
