determine whether these activities run afoul of local or international laws pertaining
to bribery and corruption. This session will also explore the types of business activities
that have a high probability of leading to business, legal or regulatory concerns,
especially in emerging markets. Mr. Gordon will conclude with insight based on
dozens of internal forensic fraud investigations as to the usual patterns he has
observed, espec ially within Asia.

James Gordon has more than 25 years of experience and expertise advising clients faced with complex highstakes business disputes, litigation, and
investigations, especially in cross border matters. Mr. Gordon has served as a consulting and testifying expert as well as a third- party
neutral in a diverse range of business and discovery disputes. Mr. Gordon has focused on Asia/China/U.S. cross border disputes and litigation since 2005 and
was based in Asia from 2009 to 2012 as managing partner for Asia/China for a global expert services and consulting firm. In China and throughout Asia
and Japan, Mr. Gordon was the consulting expert and project lead on a diverse range of complex matters, including special committee forensic investigations
for boards of U.S. listed Chinese companies, cross border discovery, allegations of business fraud, undisclosed related third party asset transfers, Foreign
Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations, deep dive mergers and acquisitions and FCPA due diligence, international arbitration, royalty disputes,
intellectual property rights, and dumping/trade issues.

Erik Laykin is a managing director and co-leader of the Global Electronic Discovery and Investigations practice at Duff & Phelps LLC
(http://www.duffandphelps.com). Erik is an electronic discovery/computer forensic authority and an internationally recognized testifying
expert in the investigation of cyber-crime, electronic fraud, data breaches, trade secret theft, trademark, patent and systems design
infringement/failure, corporate espionage and other complex information technology disputes. Erik regularly comments on legal and
technology matters at industry conferences and for the media including CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC and CBS.

Erik is a Certified Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), a Certified Electronic Discovery Specialist (CEDS) a Fellow of the
Academy of Court Appointed Masters (www.courtappointedmasters.org), a member of the Board of the Forensic Expert Witness
Association (www.FEWA.com) and an active member of several American Bar Association committees and working groups within the
Sedona Conference (www.thesedonaconference.org). Erik is also the past president and Pacific Rim Director of the FBI's Infragard
(www.infragard.com) Program. In addition to his expert testimony, Erik also serves as a court appointed Special Master and an eDiscovery Neutral in Federal and State Court.
Erik's book Investigative Computer Forensics will be published by John Wiley & Sons in Q2 2013.
Mr. Gordon has worked on many of the highest-profile regulatory and enforcement investigations in U.S. history, including the Wall Street IPO Securities Litigation, Tyco,
WorldCom, Parmalat, HealthSouth, and Enron. His work has involved matters throughout Asia, China, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States advising clients and their counsel in
responding to investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ,
Federal Trade Commission, and U.S. International Trade Counsel, as well as Congressional and Senate investigations. Mr. Gordon has personally managed more than 100 large - scale electronic
discovery matters involving the processing of tens of thousands of gigabytes of structured and unstructured data and the review of more than 250 million documents and emails. Mr. Gordon has been
the project lead on more than 100 business disputes involving billions of dollars at issue.
Mr. Gordon is an author and frequent presenter at in house corporate counsel events, American Bar Association conferences, and the International Pacific Bar Association on topics critical to
managing business risks and resolving cross-border disputes, including: Anti Corruption and Fraud Investigations in Asia, Managing Counterparty Business Risk with Business Intelligence
and Analytics, Developing Cost Effective Strategies for Managing Cross-Border Discovery, Electronic Discovery in AsiaU.S. Cross-Border Disputes, and Evidentiary Issues in
CIETAC Arbitrations. Mr. James Gordon is Director of Berkeley Research Group LLC and also visiting Professor with University of California Berkeley.

Kusuma Chandra,Ph.D is The Founder & Chairman of Asia Anti Fraud(AAF) Foundation, B2B Verified and, Founder of Anak Pintar Indonesia(Smart Kids of
Indonesia). He designs Fraud control management system, fraud control management system implementation, including designs whistle blowing of fraud
management system. Kusuma Chandra also reviews fraud in law and regulation. He was appointed by The Indonesian Central Bank, Bank Indonesia to lead the
Focus Group Discussion(FGD) to provide recommendation for Bank Indonesia in designing the draft for The Central bank Regulation on Fraud in April 2011.
The draft for The Central Bank Regulation on Fraud has been adopted and transformed as Bank Indonesia Circular dated on 9th December 2011
No.13/28/DPNP. Kusuma Chandra initiated The First Bank Fraud Prevention Ratings which is supported by Bank Indonesia for The Indonesian banking
industry nationally for the first time in the world.
He is also one of the facilitators at IICD(Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship) which was founded by the World Bank after the Indonesian economic
crisis in 1998 to promote GCG to State owned Enterprises(SOEs) and Public Listed Companies(PLCs) in Indonesia . He has over 20 years experience in
International Business. He was International Business Director, Tierra Dynamic,Inc., headquartered in New York, USA. Kusuma Chandra completed his doctoral study and attained his
doctoral degree in 2001 from Harvard University. Kusuma Chandra was former U.S. Delegate in representing U.S. private sector to APEC Conferences from 1996 to 2000 as member of

energy working group.
