We would like to announce the upcoming release of the
new town, Ayothaya. The new Ayothaya content will be
implemented on the Chaos, Loki and Iris servers during
our scheduled maintenance on May 10, 2005.
Certain features that will be implemented include:
- Aibakthing in Alberta is eagerly awaiting curious
explorers of this new town. You will be required to

speak with him if you`re wanting to travel to Ayothaya.

- The remodeling of the arena in Izlude has finally
been completed, head north and speak to Vendigos for
information.
- Zealotus and Alice Monsters are now tamable!
The Ayothaya patch is now available on our downloads
page, the downloads section may be accessed by
following the downloads link from our websites main
menu. Users are strongly encouraged to download the
Ayothaya patch prior to next week s server maintenance.

This coming weekend the experience rate will be increased to double for

Valentines day is well known for the day in which
those in love show their appreciation and affection
to each other. For this special time the iRO GM
Team has a special event created to celebrate for
the week of February 14.
Two couples from each server (Chaos, Loki, Iris
and Sakray) will have members from the GM Team
attend their wedding and their story of love will be
presented on our website along with photos taken
from the wedding. The members of the GM Team
may even present the happy couple with a surprise or two.
In order to participate, please submit a story of love
including the reason you and your partner are getting

If you have the version of the iRO client that has the
Juno Update, you must download and install the new Amatsu
Patch before accessing the game after todays server
maintenance. The installation of the Amatsu Patch will
be required to access the game after the server
maintenance on Sept. 14 between 9-11 PM (PST). For new
users who have downloaded and installed the latest
version of the iRO client, rag_setup_ep6_e.zip, it is
not necessary to download and install the Amatsu Patch.
The Amatsu patch file, rag_patch_e.zip, is available for
download from the Game Download page of the official iRO
website. You must save the rag_patch_e.zip file to your
hard drive and then extract the contents of the ZIP file
before running the rag_patch_e.exe file. You must then
input the directory in which the Ragnarok Online game
has been installed into the Destination folder field
before clicking the Install button. The default file
folder in which the Ragnarok Online game is installed is
C:\Program Files\Gravity\RagnarokOnline.

the Amatsu Update, the first part of the Ragnarok Online Global

the tranquil coastal village adorned with year round cherry blossoms.
Also following the theme of ancient Japan, the Amatsu Update will
also bring the challenge of three new dungeons inhabited by
fearsome monsters inspired by Japanese folklore.
Before the implementation of Amatsu, we suggest that users

****************5 Character Slot Reminder***************

Attention Players,
This announcement is to remind those who are awaiting
the implementation of the 5 character slot update on the
Chaos and Loki servers.
Please remember that after server maintenance August 3rd, 2004.
In order to receive the correct patch/update for your Ragnarok client,
you must connect through the patch server and download the

appropriate updates.
If you do not receive the update for your client, you will not be able to
view the extra character slots available for character creation.
Lastly, please remember to be patient while downloading the
appropriate patch/updates from the patch server. It is possible
that there may be a delay depending on the amount of server traffic
immediately after server maintenance.
It is suggested that players do not attempt to log-in before the
maintenance is completed to avoid possible account issues.
