Surveying works:Before starting of excavation the Surveyors will be set

out the invert level and location.

Excavation works:After the setting out of box culvert invert level and
location, the excavator will start in excavation to the
requested level with excavation width of invert slab +
2.0 meters as table below:Ite

Replacement Soil:After the end of excavations and surface preparing the

selected materials (with CBR > 30) will be provided to
the box culvert location with Dump trucks and
spreading using excavator ,grader & Smooth drum
roller in one layer (thickness 200 mm) after insuring
from density at 95% of MDD at OMC by laboratory test.

Lean Concrete:-

After the end of replacement soil the surveyor will make

sticks with level of bottom of invert slab in order to
control the upper surface of lean concrete.
Pouring concrete 100 mm thickness- will do by using
manual mixer.

Invert Slab, Aprons works , Walls, Deck slab

and Head walls:After the end of lean concrete works of invert slab and
Aprons will start fixing the reinforcement bar for invert
slab, Aprons and cut of walls (Drop walls) as drawing.
Then will start fixing the form works (Shuttering) of
invert slab, Aprons and cut of walls.
Pouring reinforcement concrete for invert slab Aprons
and Cut of walls after Engineer approval for
reinforcement and shuttering using Trans- mixer or
Manual mixer (0.75 m3 or 1.0 m3) which available on
site, water tanker and Excavators and curing works
continues for 7 days from pull out the shuttering.
After one day from casting the reinforcement of invert
slab, Aprons & Drop walls will start to complete fixing

of walls reinforcement bars as drawing and shuttering

works.
Pouring reinforcement concrete for walls and wing walls
after Engineer approval for reinforcement and
shuttering using Trans -mixer or Manual mixer (0.75 m3
or 1.0 m3) which available on site, water tanker and
Excavators and curing works continues for 7 days from
pull out the shuttering.
After that, will start shuttering and fixing the
reinforcement bar for Deck slab and Headwalls as
drawing
Pouring reinforcement concrete for Deck slab and Head
walls after Engineer approval for reinforcement and
shuttering using Trans -mixer or Manual mixer (0.75 m3
or 1.0 m3) which available on site, water tanker and
Excavators and curing works continues for 15 days from
pull out the shuttering.

Backfilling works:After end of curing period for Deck slab and Headwalls
will start backfilling works using natural sand in layers
(200 mm thickness compacted) spread with excavator
and water tanker (Hydraulic compaction).
