The KNOW Network
TKN (The KNOW Network) is an organization in London – United
Kingdom, founded in 1996 by a prominent researcher in the Knowledge
Management and Innovation area.

The main target is to promote growth of an organization’s intellectual capital


as strategy:

• To build an international specialist’s network in Knowledge Management;

• To accelerate the organizational performance through knowledge sharing,


generating innovation;

• To present MAKE Award - Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (awarded


since 1997 in Europe, United States and Asia).

The KNOW Network in Brasil
We are the Brazilian Chapter of The KNOW Network;
Certifying Agency (people and organizations) .

Mission: “To stimulate; global interaction, Knowledge Management and


Innovation, creation and diffusion of the Brazilian initiatives around the world.”

The objective is to increase the rank of Brazilian companies presence in the Most Admired
Knowledge Enterprise Award.
The KNOW Network arrives in Brazil as a Certifying Agency in the eight MAKE criteria of
excellence in Knowledge Management and Innovation. This action allows Brazil to participate
in the largest KM best practice international community and conferences around the world.

universities, research institutes, government etc.;

•Join efforts to implement Knowledge Management and innovation actions in the promotion of
Brazilian organizations;

•To spread the Knowledge Management MAKE methodology;

•To spread international Knowledge Management and innovation initiatives;

•To congregate in the same place with many different Knowledge Management and innovation
visions and opinions, and to continue the discussion through TKNBrazil website;

•To launch the edition of GMC and MAKE Award Brasil 2011.
