Introduction
End to End Trail Management is only supported with IP-10G Series
When STM-1 Line interface is used to connect 2, the user must add neighboring elements
in the IP tables of each element participating in the trail.

Make sure trail configuration is
completed without alarms
ID mismatch and Failure alarms
may occur when trail interfaces
(end points) are not connected

Set Reserved to change the
status of the trail from
Operational to Reserved, or vice
versa.
Click Poll Trail to refresh the
status of the trail elements.
Click Delete Trail to delete the
trail.
Trail Graphic View:

element positions in the trail

Click Load to load new element
locations in the trail.

Trap Forwarding Configuration
Important:
For trap forwarding to operate properly, configure the trap options in all
network elements, as follows:
Report traps of far end IDU - de-select
Use different alarm ID for each alarm type - select
Send traps with extended alarm information - select

Off disabled
Regular will forward the incoming traps exactly as received

Trap Listening Port Number:
The standard SNMP port is 162. change this port number in case it is occupied by another service.
Minimal allowed port = 1
Maximum port = 65535

Local Host Address:
Set IP address or Hostname of local host machine. Leave 0.0.0.0 to bind all IP addresses.
Forward Traps to Hosts:
Enter a list of host names and port numbers to which traps will be forwarded.
Use the format <host IP>:<port>.

Exporting Topology
You can export CeraMap data (topology and trigger information) to an external
file by selecting File, Export Data.
After you export CeraMap data, the exported file can be imported back into PolyView (for example,
after a server upgrade), or to another PolyView server.

Importing Topology
The import will be done under the currently selected group.
Select the file to import, which data types you want to import from the file,
and whether or not to update duplicated items.
