The plot

Macbeth, Thane of Glamis, meets three witches who tell him that he will
become king of Scotlan. Macbeth thinks about making the prophecy come true
by murdering the king, his cousin Duncan Macbeths ambitious wife urges him
to do It
He becomes king, but he cannot enjoy it. He is filled with guilt, and worries
about how to keep the throne be has taken.
Duncans sons scape to England and begin to raise and army against him. Then
because the witches predicted than Banquo would be the father the kings,
Macbeth visits the witches again, and the show him visions that make him
believe he cannot be beaten. But he has ore enemies and the visions come
true, in a way he doesnt expect.

Macbeth
Is a loyal thame (lord), a brave general and an honest man, but when witches
tell him that he will be king of Scotlan, the murders king Duncan and takes the
throne himself. At first he is horrified by what he has done, but then he
overcomes his feelings and becomes more and more ruthless.

Lady Macbeth
Is Macbeths wife, ready todo anything to becomes queen, she plan king
Dunkans murder and persuader Macbeth to kill him. She tells Macbeth not to
worry about what they have done, but even she has secret feelings of guilt that
she cant hide when she is asleep.

Banquo
Is Macbeths friend, and is also a thane and a general. He suspects Macbeth of
murdering Duncan, but does not live long enough to do anything about it.
Macduf

Is Thane of Five. When Macbeth becomes king, Macduf goes to join Malcom in
England. When Macbeth murders Macdufs wife and children, he vows to kill
Macbeth in battle.

4. BANQUO
Forres palace. Macbeth is now king, but he remembers the rest of the witches
prophecies and so does Banquo.

6. WITCHES AND VISITONS
The witches cave near Forres. Macbeth decides to visit the witches to find out
what the future holds for him.

8. DARK THOUCHTS
Sunsinane, late at night. Malcolms huge army is at Birnam Wood; inside the
castle, lady Macbeth is sleepwalking

Dunsinane. Macolms army is marching to attack Dunsinane, carrying branches
from the trees of Birnam Wood
