Sub: Lost / Misplaced Parcel (DOCKET No. 431534171)

Dear Sir,
A parcel was sent from Mumbai to Gurgaon on Jan 06, 2015 through On Dot Couriers.
The docket number for this is as follows:
Tracking No. / Docket No.: 431534171
The delivery address was supposed to be as follows:
Libsys Ltd.
c/o Naman Aggarwal
631-633A, Udyog Vihar, Phase-V
Gurgaon 122016
(T): 0124-4894141
I was told that the parcel would be delivered on or before Jan 12, 2015. However to date the
parcel has not been delivered. This is confirmed by the online tracking also.
I lodged a complaint with the local branch of On Dot which had picked up the parcel. Its
owner/manager Mr. Naveen Tiwari says he has escalated the issue to all concerned people both
here and in Delhi, but he has not got any updates or response from Delhi and Gurgaon. In fact
the Gurgaon branch has been giving me misleading replies over the past 2 days asking me to
get in touch with DI Express etc. I was even falsely told that the parcel has been delivered on
Jan 21, 2015, but upon checking with the opposite party, I found out that no such parcel was
delivered to them. Even though it is neither my duty nor responsibility, I contacted D I Express
on the cell number provided to me by the Gurgaon branch, and had spoken to one Mr. Yash. He
has categorically stated that he has not received any parcel for delivery from Gurgaon hub with
the above docking number.
Today evening, I spoke to one Ms Neha of the Gurgaon branch and they are confirming that the
parcel has been misplaced / lost.
For your information the parcel contained a book worth Rs 546/- which was being returned to
the above address. In addition, I have paid an amount of Rs 80/- for this shipment. Since the

parcel has been irretrievably lost, I request you to please arrange to reimburse me for this loss
of Rs 626 = (Rs 546 + Rs 80).
Please note that this is not the first time that I have had a problem with a parcel being sent to
Gurgaon. In November 2014 too when I had sent a book to the same address as above, the
parcel was misplaced in Delhi. This speaks very poorly on the reputation of On Dot Couriers.
You risk being labeled a fly by night operator.
Please revert to me at the earliest as to how you intend to resolve this matter to my satisfaction,
failing which I will be compelled to seek a legal recourse.

An extremely disappointed customer,
