INTRODUCTION
This project is to make the business based on fisheries tourism. Tackle Sport Fishing
Sdn Bhd is the one famous company in Malaysia. Our company was born in year 2009. The
fishing sport is the famous sport in the world.

OBJECTIVE

Tackle Sport Fishing Sdn. Bhd is one of the management that provide the sport fishing
competition.This management is located at Pulau Singa Besar,Langkawi. Pulau Singa Besar
located at the southwestern tip of Langkawi, Pulau Singa Besar is strategically situated
between the well-renowned Pulau Dayang Bunting and Pulau Beras Basah.
According to some information from the local tourist centre, the island
sprawls 636 hectares and is almost fully covered by thick forest and huge stones. The
natural setting as such has made it into a paradise of various wild lives where animals such
as monkeys and eagles can be easily spotted around that area.
The island, as being undeveloped in order to preserve its precious nature has
no basic amenities such as lodge or resort. Nevertheless, it serves as a camp site and for
those who are interested to truly experience the pristine serenity in its wonderful natural
setting, they can bring along their own camping equipment and set their camp there.

At this island,we have two pond,to do a sport fishing competition.There are
pond for catch and release and pond for catch and eat. Tackle Sport Fishing Sdn. Bhd is
build to provide the means and environment to promote and improve the sport fishing
education level and capability of club members and of the community in general,to make
our fishing activities tradition not lost for our new generation,and other else.What is sport
fishing?
For your information, recreational fishing is also called sport fishing, is fishing
for pleasure or competition. It can be contrasted with commercial fishing, which is fishing
for profit, orsubsistence fishing, which is fishing for survival.The most common form of
recreational fishing is done with a rod,reel, line, hooks,and any one of a wide range of baits.
Other devices, commonly referred to asterminal tackle are also used to affect or
complement the presentation of the bait to the targeted fish. Some examples of terminal
tackle include weights, floats, and swivels. Lures are frequently used in place of bait. Some
hobbyists make handmade tackle themselves, including plastic lures and artificial flies. The
practice of catching or attempting to catch fish with a hook is known as angling.

Sport Fishing Pond

Big-game fishing is conducted from boats to catch large open-water species
such as tuna, sharks and marlin. Noodling and trout tickling are also recreational activities

Sport fishing also have its background also. The early evolution of fishing as recreation is
not clear. For example, there is anecdotal evidence for fly fishing in Japan as early as the
ninth century BCE,[1] and in Europe Claudius Aelianus (175235 CE) describes fly fishing in
his work On the Nature of Animals.
But for the early Japanese and Macedonians, fly fishing was likely to have been a
means of survival, rather than recreation. It is possible that antecedents of recreational fly
fishing arrived in England with the Norman conquest of 1066.[2] Although the point in history
where fishing could first be said to be recreational is not clear,[3] it is clear that recreational
fishing had fully arrived with the publication of The Compleat Angler.
The earliest English essay on recreational fishing was published in 1496, shortly
after the invention of the printing press. The authorship of this was attributed to Dame
Juliana Berners, the prioress of the Benedictine Sopwell Nunnery.
The essay was titled Treatyse of Fysshynge wyth an Angle, and was published in
the second Boke of Saint Albans, a treatise on hawking, hunting, and heraldry. These were
major interests of the nobility, and the publisher, Wynkyn de Worde, was concerned that
the book should be kept from those who were not gentlemen, since their immoderation in
angling might "utterly destroy it".
During the 16th century the work was much read, and was reprinted many
times. Treatyse includes detailed information on fishing waters, the construction of rods and
lines, and the use of natural baits and artificial flies. It also includes modern concerns about
conservation and angler etiquette.
The earliest English poetical treatise on Angling by John Dennys, said to have
been a fishing companion of Shakespeare, was published in 1613, The Secrets of Angling.

Footnotes of the work, written by Dennys' editor, William Lawson, make the first mention of
the phrase to 'cast a fly': "The trout gives the most gentlemanly and readiest sport of all, if
you fish with an artificial fly, a line twice your rod's length of three hairs' thickness... and if
you have learnt the cast of the fly."
Besides, the objective for sport fishing are manage and enhance the quality,
abundance, availability and diversity of aquatic species populations and sport fishing
opportunities, enhance the capacity of habitat to support aquatic wildlife and implement
population enhancements, ntegrate multi-species watershed management plans, ensure
sport fish are abundant and in balance with competing societal expectations.,manage
human-wildlife conflicts,respond to fish disease and extensive fish die-offs ,manage and
enhance the quality, abundance, availability and diversity of sport fishing opportunities.
Retain the Department's sport fish management authority, explore additional mechanisms
to increase funding for expanding aquatic conservation and management needs, develop
aquatic disease surveillance and response processes,ensure broad-based public input into
fishing guidelines, recommendations and Commission Orders,balance public demand for
sport fish recreation with conservation of native aquatic resources,ensure the aquatic
resource is abundant and in balance with competing societal expectations,enhance
understanding of sport fish recreation as an economic driver in many Arizona
communities,conserve native aquatic diversity,enhance the capacity of habitat to support
aquatic wildlife,explore additional mechanisms to increase funding for sport fish
conservation,develop wildlife and disease surveillance and response procedures,enhance
understanding of sport fish recreation as an economic driver in many Arizona
communities,manage sport fish and native aquatic species populations using science-based

techniques and technology and the last one is Maintain fisheries expertise in an
environment that promotes flexible use of resources.

Characteristic : Pulau Singa Besar Pulau Langkawi is located at southwest. It is big Island
and place between Pulau Beras Basah and Pulau Dayang Bunting.The island preserved
natural surrounding. No provide hotel or chalet. Visitor will have to bring along their own
tent and camping equipment if they wish to spent the night on the island. Especially for our
customer, We provide a suitable big place to their sit or place their tent if they want.
Tackle ponds is located in Pulau Singa Besar at Langkawi which is in our company area
Tackle Spot Fishing Sdn. Bhd.. The maximum depth in tackle pond is only 15 hectar (average
depth 210 feet). Beside the application nature concept on the environment, its also has
clear water.Tackle pond provide two type of pond which are pond for catch and release and
pond for fish buy. Some fish are placed on their own pond with same species based on their
behavior.

Existing : Tackle pond is colonized by spot warm water species and mostly provides a
subpar fishery for large mouth bass,small mouth bass and chain pickerel. For marine water

in Pulau Singa usually a lot of fish appear near to surface due to temperature. The quantity
of fish present at the sea depends on temperature that suitable to fish due to their species.
At night the temperature of the sea is lower than at day, so the fish will commonly appear at
night rather than in day due to hot temperature. Because of that,our company provide
session fishing at night those who prefer fish at night.

Access : Tackle pond is located to our company nearly to the beach Pulau Singa Besar. The
distance between the tackle pond and the spot fishing on marine is around 2 km. The
customer who register under our company via online or directly to us will be taken from
Jetty Pulau Singa Besar to beach of Pulau Singa Besar by our company vehicles. For those
who are register on spot fishing fresh water will also be taken by our company van from
beach Pulau Singa Besar to Tackle Pond in our company.

In this generation, fish resources decreases and cannot be controlled. It is because of
some uncontrolled fishing activities such as illegal fishing activities, overfishing and others.
So we decided to provide a legal sport fishing services to make sure that everyone can
experience sport fishing in safe ways.

Our companys name is Tackle Sport fishing Sdn. Bhd. and we provide sport fishing
services to all fishing lovers worldwide. We make a business about sport fishing and we help
to keep the environment save by practising safe fishing activities. With practising safe
fishing activities, we can prevent sea pollution such as oil split, and others. We provide our

own boat for rent in marine area and we also provide our own freshwater pond named
Tackle pond for freshwaters lovers. We provide variety species of freshwater fish for our
customer to make sure that that they satisfied with their payment. We have 3 fishing boat
and 5 boat ranger specially for our customers convenience. In every boat, we have
sufficient facilities for our company.
Tackle Sport Fishing Sdn. Bhd. is placed at Pulau Singa Besar, Langkawi, Kedah
Darul Aman. We decided to build our company at this place because it can make tourist
attracted with the beautiful views of Pulau Singa Besar, Langkawi. For your information,
Langkawi is one of high ranking place that tourist loves to visit. So, besides of making a
sport fishing business, we can also improve our countrys tourism industry. In Tackle
Sport Fishing Sdn. Bhd, we will make sure that our customer will fascinate with our
beautiful views.
Moreover, we can improve the sport fishing education level. Nowadays, Malaysians
do not have sufficient knowledge and experience about sport fishing. So, by establishing a
sport fishings company, so we can expand the knowledge of sport fishing worldwide.

freshwater area for our customer so our customer can choose whether they want spend
their time at marine area or freshwater area. We provide support for local area

For the facilities, since our company is located at Singa Besar Island, so we have our booth at
the Pulau Singa Besar port. If the customers want to do to the fresh water fishing, then we
will provide transportation to the location. There will be a minivan provided, because the
pond will be 2km away from the port.

For the marine fishing activities, we have 3 big fishing boat and 5 speedboat. All the boat
can carry about 55 persons at one time. The life jacket will also provide to ensure the safety

Theres two ways of registration and payment. First, we have our booth at the Pulau Singa
Besar port, the registration and payment can be done there. All the facilities after that will

payment can be done using credit card so, when arrived at the island just self-report at the
booth.

Every year, our company will organize a competition. The competition will be done twice a
year. We will hold the competition every March and August. We will promote the
competition to all over Malaysia to attract the fishing lover to come to our place to join the
competition. The winners will be awarded and decided based on terms and condition of the

at our pond and the other part is marine fishing competition that will be held on the fishing
