Montage
Description:
Colored spiritual montage.
Process:
I first created some sketches of my layout. Then I
used my sketch as a guide to create this layout in
illustrator. I used a pictures from these two websites:

bc/44/25bc44dda766d58835f4209e8e93e72b.jpg, https://
www.pinterest.com/ and blended them together. Then I
put the Saviors eyes in the rule of thirds position where
it will take the viewers attention. Then I made an arrow
going down to the scripture that portrays the message.
Message:
I am trying to target people who care about spiritual
messages and who believe in the Savior. The message I
am portraying is that eternal life can be given to us if we
believe in Jesus the Christ.
Audience:
People who love the scriptures and believe in the Savior.
Top thing learned:
I learned the importance of color and blending pictures.

Description:
Colored Asian Food restaurant logo
Process:
I first created some sketches of my layout. Then I used
my sketch as a guide to create this layout in illustrator.
Then I made the panda eyes a light blue where it will
take the viewers attention. Then I wrote the companys
name under the logo and changed the colors to colors
where it will make people more hungry.
Message:
I am trying to target people who love asian food and
asian culture. The message is we are a asian restaurant
selling asian food.
Audience:
People who love asian food and asian culture.
Top thing learned:
I learned the importance of color and how to use
illustrator.

All three logos use the same font.
Top Logo had 5 votes, Middle logo had 13 votes, and the
third logo had 2 votes.
My favorite logo is the middle logo.

Business Card
Description:
Colored photography business card and stationary.
Process:
Business card
I first created some sketches of my layout. Then I used my
sketch as a guide to create this layout in illustrator. Then I
made a illustration of a shutter and erased part of the image.
Then I took one part of the shutter and made it a different
color where it will take the viewers attention. Then I wrote
the company name in the shutter image to the left where
there was white space.
I took the logo and added it to the stationary twice. I made
one logo big and the other small. The big logo I put in the
bottom right and decreased the opacity and rotated the
image. Then I took the smaller logo and added it to the top
right of the stationary. Then I added lines to give it flow
within the stationary. I added my contact info at the bottom
last in the process of making my stationary.
Message:
I am trying to target people who photography and want
to get professional pictures taken. The message we are
portraying is we our a photography business and want to
take your professional pictures.
Audience:
People who love photography and want to get there
professional pictures taken.
Top thing learned:
I learned the importance of color and alignment.

Description:
Colored brochure about Teton Tacos.
Process:
Brochure
I first created some sketches of my layout. Then I
used my sketch as a guide to create this layout in
illustrator. Then I took a picture of my self and
added some text about Teton Tacos and how we
made the company. Then I added to the story in the
middle of the inside of the brochure. Then I added
my logo at the bottom of the picture. Then I added
the logo in the front of the brochure like a medal.
Message:
I am trying to target people who like tacos and who
like delicious Mexican food. The message we are
portraying is we sell delicious street tacos.
Audience:
People who love Tacos and who like inexpensive
food.

I learned the importance of folding and alignment.

Description:
Black & White promotional flier to promote a graduate
leadership conference.
Process:
I first created some sketches of my layout. Then I used my
sketch as a guide to create this layout in Adobe InDesign. I
used the two pictures for the sides and I put the a text box in
the middle of the two pictures to set up a focal point with the
text. Then I put the text in the rule of thirds position where
it will take the viewers attention. Then lines coming from the
side to give it more variety in the picture.
Message:
I am trying to reach recent graduates, who want to have
an edge by becoming strong leaders, to inform them how
this leadership conference will help them. Also on students
who are about to graduate who want to improve on their
leadership skills.
Audience:
Recent graduates and soon to graduate students who are 2130 years of age.
Top thing learned:
I learned the importance of focal point and visual hierarchy.

the the picture I scanned for the main picture in flier
and I put the text bubbles in pictures to set up a path
with the text. Then I put the text in the rule of thirds
position where it will take the viewers attention. Then
lines coming from the side to give it more variety in the
picture.
Message:
I am trying to reach people who care about people
fighting cancer and that our company cares about our
community. Also to inform our customers that we
support organization fighting cancer.
Audience:
People who care about causes of fighting cancer and
who love jewelry.

I first created some sketches of my layout. Then I used my
sketch as a guide to create this layout in css. Then I took a
picture of my self and added some text about me and how
I was the designer of the logo. Then I added to the landing
page at the top then I added my logo at the bottom of the
picture. Then I finally put three brief descriptions of the logo
design.
Message:
I am trying to target people who like photography and

portraying is we our a photography business and want to
