BUSINESS CARD
Description: Business card for local business in California
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used Adobe Illustrator to make
the logo and small vector images for this project, and then I used
Adobe InDesign to pull it all together to make the final result.
Message: I wanted the message to be simple. A sleek logo that can be
a timeless look and have all the information available.
Audience: Specifically this is a skate shop so i suppose skateboarders
would be the audience but i wanted it to leave people with a sense of
wonder, What is XBS?

FLIER
Description: This is my version of the Graduate Leadership
Conference flier for Comm130. I chose to use a soft gray gradient
in the background. I presented this flier with a simple layout and
comfortable to the eyes.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used all InDesign for this
project. Skills i used were importing images from the web and
creating a circle image using the ellipse frame tool.
Message: The message i chose was minimalistic and simple. I felt
that the audience would know that this conference was happening
and that my flier was a simple reminder.
Audience: My audience is for college students that are attending a
graduate leadership conference.
Top Thing Learned: My top things that I learned is InDesign. I have
not used InDesign and found that when I was playing around with
it, that is similar to other Adobe programs that i have used. I really
liked this exercise because it allowed me to develop a skill and I can
now apply this to future opportunities.

LOGOS
Description:I chose to use my previous skill with illustrator
to accomplish this assignment. I chose to make a logo for a scuba
shack because i thought it was simple but it was something that
can be easily understood.
Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I only used Illustrator with a
graphic tablet to help sketch the images like the scuba diver and
tank.
Message: My message is to attract those that are interested in
scuba and to come to Dukes Scuba. I do not like logos that are to
busy. I want it to be simple but you can remember it. It leaves a
lasting impression.
Audience: Those interested in scuba, but it can be for anyone.
Top Thing Learned: I have never used a graphic tablet so
that was interesting and i learned how to use illustrator in a
different light. I usually will look up tutorials on YouTube to get
the look i want so this pushed me to learn illustrator.
