TEACHERS RULES

1. Teacher is required to have their lesson prepared before every class.

Teacher is required to follow the schedule as assigned by the School. In the event teacher cannot
come for a class, 48-hour prior notice is required;
+ The School will arrange substitute teacher for that class and inform the absent teacher. In
the case substitute teacher cannot be arrange, the absent teacher is required to arrange a make-up
class for student.
+ In the event teacher cannot come for a class and fails to give a 48-hour notice, the teacher
is required to arrange a make-up class and will not be paid for this make-up class.
* Notice: 48 hours notice means close of business on the respective day. For example, for
Wednesday class teachers have until 9pm on the Monday to notify the school.

Teacher is not permitted to be absent, change the class time or arrange a substitute teacher for a
class without notifying the school.

2. Teacher is required to be punctual for class.


3. Teacher shall take their break (eating, resting or preparing their lessons) during the intervals between
classes inside Teachers room only, not in other areas of the campus.
4. Direct contact between teachers and parents/ students regarding the schools affairs is not permitted.
In case parents/ students make direct contact with teacher, the teacher is required to report back to
the school.
5. Using mobile phone or other electronic devices for personal purposes during class time is prohibited.
6. Teacher is not permitted to go out of the classroom during class time with unreasonable excuses.
7. Teacher is not permitted to bring or allow students to bring food and drink inside classrooms.
8. Teacher is not permitted to bring outsiders into classroom without notifying the school.
9. After every class, it is teachers responsibility to check the attendance, note down the lesson (title
and page number) and comments on students performance, to be done on the system. Teacher is
also required to make record on the physical attendance file.
10. Absence without acceptable reasons at teachers meetings held by the school is not permitted.
11. Attire requirements:
Male: long pants, shirts with sleeves, shoes; NO sandals, slippers or sneakers.
Female: shoes that cover heels and toes; NO shorts or too short skirts.

12. Teacher is required to follow rules of teaching as below:

Using Emotion-Centered Methodology and Textbooks provide by the school. Trinity


textbooks are used as the main textbook for the curriculum.

Bilingual teaching is encouraged; however, using English for musical terms is a MUST.

Any supplementary materials other than the schools materials must to be applied in teaching
must be gone through by the school in advance.

Teacher is required to instruct student to take note on Student Hand Book after every lesson.
Teacher is then required to sign on that note.

13. During a term, should teacher recognize the needs to change a students level, teacher is required to
report to the school management board for a prompt and effective solution.
14. Teacher is required to conduct end-of-term test for students according to the Procedure given by the
school. Theory & Practical test must be completed at least 2 weeks before the last class day of the
term; and the test results must be submitted to the school at least 1 week before the last class day of
the term.
15. Teacher is required to attend all the training sessions conducted by the school. In the event teacher
cannot attend a session with acceptable reasons, teacher is required to update the content of such
training session to keep up with the next one.

* DISCIPLINARY ACTION FOR RULES VIOLATION


Group A: 50% deduction of the class when rules are violated.
Group B: 10% deduction of the month when rules are violated.
The following disciplinary actions shall be applied when a rule is violated:
- Rules from number 3 11 are violated, Group A is applied.
- Rules from number 12 16 are violated, Group B is applied.
- For each violation, teacher shall receive a Warning Letter. Teachers contract with the school shall be
terminated immediately if the teacher receive 03 (three) Warning Letters within 06 (six) months.
