January, 2004: Recruited by Baker Atlas, Oman (Wireline Logging


Services Provider in the Petroleum and Gas Industry) as Junior
Maintenance Engineer.

Company Profile:
Baker Atlas offers a complete range of downhole well logging services
for every environment including advanced formation evaluation,
production and reservoir engineering, petrophysical and geophysical data
acquisition services. In addition, perforating and completion technologies,
pipe recovery, and processing and analysis of open and cased hole data
complete the service range.

Job Description:
Keeping data acquisition equipment in optimal condition which includes
diagnosing component level electronic faults and trouble shooting
computer system problems, implementing design revisions to ensure
equipment reliability and compatibility,
support a 24-hours-a-day operation at The Baker Atlas Qarn Al-Alam
base.

Job Description:
Responsible for the safe, efficient performance, management, and
administration of logging operations at a customer's wellsite. Works with
Customer Representative and drill crew on location to coordinate
operations with the rig and or production facility. Advises Customer
Representative in the logging and completions operations; interpreting

logging data, troubleshooting, and other wellsite analysis and decision-
making processes. Responsible for servicing and operational status of the
field unit, leadership of the logging crew and maintenance of the
equipment and facility. Assists with training of assigned personnel in
completions operations and maintenance. Promotes and maintains good
customer relations. Performs all required responsibilities safely and as
described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations, and
Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals. Performs other related
duties as required.

July, 2009: Served as Stand-In Operations Manager for a period of


three weeks

Job Description:
Coordinating and organizing well logging operations of the Baker Atlas
Kuwait Base; supervising activities of service and technical
personnel via job assignments, project management, administration and
technical support; monitoring daily progress of jobs and rig activities;
providing technical guidance and work direction to field staff.

In House Training Programmes:


Attended and successfully completed a Field Operations Training Course,
Integrated Maintenance Technology Course, a Basic Eclips School, a Well
Logging School, as well as H.S.E related courses and several other Advanced
Well Logging Courses at The Baker Atlas Training Centre, Odessa, Texas,
U.S.A.

PROFESSIONAL ACHEIVEMENTS:

1. Awarded The Fourth Quarter, 2004 Baker Atlas Middle East Region Core
Value Recognition Award and Certificate for displaying the Core Value
of TEAMWORK by diligently dedicating vast efforts to ensure geophones
were duly serviced. Due to hard work, the downhole tools performed flawlessly
in a complex walk away seismic job (Dhahaban East – 1) and the job was
complete success.

2. Awarded The Fourth Quarter, 2006 Baker Atlas Middle East Region Core
Value Recognition Award and Certificate for displaying the Core Value of
PERFORMANCE.

3. A success story from “This Week @ Baker Hughes: July 15, 2008” weekly
in house magazine:
Baker Atlas Kuwait recently completed a successful POLARISSM service for
its main client. The POLARIS service was run and processed efficiently,
acquiring excellent data after resolving issues that had previously hampered
deployment of the service. The client was impressed with the Baker Atlas
crew’s teamwork and the cooperation between field personnel, Geoscience and
the client’s own personnel. Due to the success of this job and the quality of the
data, the client has requested Baker Atlas accelerate the start of the next
operation and has allocated new work to Baker Atlas that was originally
intended for the competition. Kuwait and Qatar District Manager Emad Al-
Ajmi was very impressed with the delivery of Baker Atlas services on this job,
specifically the teamwork and coordination between Geoscience and field
personnel which was a big part of the success. Thanks go out to the Kuwait
employees who made this job a success including Engineers Ashraf Al-
Ansari, David Soans, Charl Marais and Arafat Saleh, Operators Mohammed
Ali, Mohammed Rabaha, Mishal Al-Muhanna and Kamel Droubi, along with
Geoscientist Lynda Memiche, Reservoir Engineer Anup Hunnur and
Geoscience Manager Uli Herz. Special thanks go to Kuwait Sales Coordinator
Richard Soans for his tireless work with the client and serving as the liaison
between all parties involved with the operation.

4. A success story from “This Week @ Baker Hughes: May 5, 2009” weekly in
house magazine:
Baker Atlas Kuwait completed a three-well campaign for a local oil company,
which has led to Baker Atlas being awarded three additional wells to be
completed by the end of Q2 2009. Crews ran the POLARISSM service in all
three horizontal wells, and the information enabled the client to redesign their
completion and optimize production. After delivering positive results in 2008,
this latest success has positioned the POLARIS service as a must-have from the
client’s perspective, and Baker Atlas is now considered its preferred vendor for
another six-to-eight wells expected before the end of the year. Congratulations
go to the following Kuwait staff: Engineers Ashraf Al Ansari, David Soans,
Charl Marais and Arafat Saleh, and Operators Mohammed Ali, Mishal Al-
Muhanna, Oswald D’Souza, Valentino Carvalho, Mohammad Rabaha, Kamel
Droubi and Mahamud Shire. Thanks also go to Geoscientist Lynda Memiche
and Geoscience Manager Uli Herz, who both participated in the processing the
data, Karima Nasri for the pressure build-up analysis, as well as Sefer Coskun,
Tushar Patil and a number of Houston staff, who delivered the final product to
the client in a timely manner.
